You can't give the left a single inch, they will take a mile. If you care at all about the viability of female competition there is no scenario where a biological male should be competing against biological females.

I'm not talking about your local 5k, I'm taking about high school and college sports. These females are competing for opportunities and scholarships. That's my issue with all of this, the females that support this garbage don't care at all about athletics and the females who are athletes are afraid to speak out.

Both my kids were\are college athletes, your average non-athlete thinks this isn't a big deal, it is. The female athletes need to take a stand starting now. If they don't, female athletics won't exist.

We've already seen women lose opportunities on the Olympic stage. If a line is not drawn women's sports will be over in 10-20 years.

I don't think there are any examples of dudes just pretending to be a girl to play a sport.   They all identify as girls.   The closest is probably the 2 track girls from CT, as they took zero hormone treatment, but they still identified as girls.  I believe the NCAA requires hormone treatment so that'd be some dedication if they wanted a scholarship.

I do agree with Reality and cdub that it's a big deal (I was a college athlete as well) and I am for restrictions on it, but saying things like "female athletics won't exist" is just fearmongering.

In order to be the very best in female sports, these people usually have to be at least pretty good as a male.   Thomas for example had the 6th fastest men's time nationally in the 1000m as a freshman.  The main other example I can think of is the cross country runner from Montana, who was also on the team as a male (and was a male state champion in high school).  After taking hormone treatments, IIRC I don't even think she qualified for nationals in cross country and her best accomplishment was winning a conference title in indoor track (although I believe there were some tanking accusations so that she would stay out of the spotlight).
