Louisiana tells Black people they ain’t Black

Recommended Posts

Louisiana wants to gerrymander and disenfranchise Black people. However, there’s a law preventing discrimination against Black people. Louisiana’s response: they ain’t Black.

Alabama tried something similar earlier, but dropped it. So now Louisiana has pulled ahead in the “whose government is more racist” derby.

Our president disagrees with this.

Back when the law prevented black people from enjoying the privileges of being an American, states like Louisiana considered those with even a drop of black blood to be black.

Now that there’s a protection in the law for black voting rights, they are limiting who can be “black” according to the state.

Yep. They just change the law to whatever will screw over black people the most at any given point in time.

Actually, I was referring to your statement of "Back when the law prevented black people from enjoying the privileges of being an American".  Those people, would be Democrats.  Just sayin'.

Correct.  Democrats are still damaging the AA community, they are just more sneaky about it.

Is that why the governor of Louisiana is a democrat and the mayor of New Orleans is a black democrat woman?

Is that how that works?

Well, if a man can be judged to be a woman, why can’t there be a debate as to what a persons race is?

Logic and liberal positions are not likely to align.  No it does not make any sense, but when you are a liberal fantasy is just fine as a "reality"

Excellent point. We have a SC justice who doesn't know what a woman is, a president that determines race by how they vote, so how the hell could us peons know what anything is without democratic guidance?

I didn’t bring up political party. I brought up the government of the southern states. They switched parties after LBJ, but they’re all cut from the same cloth.

The governor of Maryland is a Republican, but it’s a solidly liberal state otherwise. Pay attention.

Yeah.  It’s worked out great for blacks in the south since the democrats took them in. Like in Misery
