Digby and I have gone at it pretty hard for a long time a while back, longer and more fierce than him and Gutterboy did. I was never reported by him. I don’t think it’s his style to report anyone. He’s gone at it with plenty of people. He looked up my old house once. But he only reports Gutterboy? I doubt it.

you'd be surprised. All it takes is one person whose feelings get easily hurt to have it out for another poster.

Perfect example was "Louis Whatever" engaging with WhiskyDigby yesterday. As soon as Louis made a comment about finishing on his wife, or something to that effect, I said he was going to get reported and suspended... and that's exactly what happened. 

my point being if someone like WhiskyDigby doesn't like Louis, he's going to wait for a comment that could be reportable.

I can’t find it now, but years ago Mike FF Today said in a GC thread that the mods don’t look for aliases of banned posters but they will confirm it and remove aliases if they’re reported.

I took that as a clue to the moderation style. Most of the time the mods aren’t actively looking through these threads unless there’s a report. Then they check out what happened and make a ruling.

If the mods were actively looking for violations of the terms of conduct they would be banning multiple posters almost every day.

Really? He claimed a mod Deleted a single post of his minutes after he posted it. He just happened to be lying in that post. He claimed Digby reported him, of course. It was quoted though, and it was nothing that any action would be taken about. Just a lie.

Digby started a thread and stated that he was going to report vomit anytime vomit posted in that thread.  Vomit posted that digby should fock his mother.  Vomit was banned shortly after.
