No, I don't think one guy is to blame, pretty much ever, it's a very naïve way of thinking, which is what the board magatards do here all the time.  Trump didn't do anything to stop this, neither did Biden, it's a simple case of corporate greed, cost cutting, and lobbying govt to relax regulation so they can cut more corners and make more money.  Pretty simple.

Liar. You were trying to correlate high taxed states with high costs of housing and I’m the dumbass?  I never once mentioned cities and suburbs. People are migrating from blue states to red states in record numbers. This is a fact. you claimed this was due to better jobs but then argue all the high paying jobs are in the blue states. What is a conservative suburb in a lib city like you mentioned in the other thread can you give me an example of one of those? Exactly.  It was a broken axel that was on fire for a long time before the derailment.  There are inspections and fire notification sensors that also have appeared to have failed here.  

IF people really want to assign blame for this, start with forcing the rail unions back to work after they cited unsafe working conditions.

This still aligns with what was said earlier. The Trump admin did roll back regulations,  but the ones that were in place previously would not have applied to this material.
