....As drag storytimes have received heightened media attention over the last year, my team and I have fielded the question: Why does drag storytime belong in public libraries? For the most part, this is an honest question asked by people genuinely seeking to understand. I’ve learned that a lot of folks don’t initially get the connection between public libraries and drag...On one level, drag storytime is a visible place of inclusion for LGBTQ+ families. Hosting drag storytime says: LGBTQ+ family belongs in the library, LGBTQ+ staff belong in libraries, and we will have books of all kinds about LGBTQ+ culture and history....As a library, it is our responsibility to invite, celebrate, and take action to explicitly include marginalized communities....

....Drag storytime can be important in starting conversations at a community level. Productive conversations about gender and family can be sparked, as well as what it means to be a marginalized community. We believe it’s essential that our communities find ways to have these conversations and connect, especially when our opinions, beliefs and experiences differ....When asked why she does drag storytime, Panda Dulce put it this way: “when you do story hour, sometimes there are queer kids, and you can really tell because they light up in a way where you just know, and you have that immediate connection…Words can't capture what that feels like." ....Alameda County Supervisor Dave Brown and his District 3 staff also showed immediate and unwavering support. As a show of commitment, he funded a full year of LGBTQ+ library programming for each month from July 2022-June 2023. Through this support, the San Lorenzo Library is hosting monthly programming as part of Every Month is Pride Month, including an upcoming drag storytime on February 18, 2023.

And yet many LGBT activists and their allies want every kindergarten to teach that boys can become girls and girls can become boys. They want every middle school to have an LGBT club with teachers actively recruiting for it. They are determined to celebrate and praise kids who come out as part of the rainbow elect while labeling those who do not as cis-hetero oppressors. They are, in short, acting like recruiters, with activist teachers even working to hide students’ LGBT identities from parents. These debates are not just about who will teach children about sex and sexual morality, but also about who has the right to direct their development. So let's move past, just for a second, that Alameda County Libraries used TAX DOLLARS, to have Drag Queen Story Hour, infused in "Every Month Is Pride Month", so an activist like "Panda Dulce" can personally "light up" finding out that PRESCHOOLERS are apparently now "gay". ( Based on what criteria?) Also never mind that ACL won't actually address the obvious issue about their push to have conversations about "marginalized communities" won't actually be understood by the actual "target audience" - PRESCHOOLERS. 

The first video here shows the general insanity of many public school teachers. But like a snowball that turns into an avalanche, look at the pathway to start to ask the question - "Are they coming for your kids?"

UPDATE: Teacher Removed After Students Pledge Allegiance to Pride Flag

Kristin Pitzen, the California schoolteacher who posted video to social media of herself instructing students to say the pledge of allegiance to a Progress Pride flag, has been removed from her classroom pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation by the Newport Mesa Unified School District.

"We are aware that one of our teachers posted a video on their personal social media that caused alarm and concern...." Annette Franco, a spokesperson for the school district, wrote in an email to Newsweek. "Showing respect for our nation's flag is an important value that we instill in our students and an expectation of our employees. The teacher is no longer in the classroom. We follow due process and our investigation continues...."

"I always tell my class stand if you feel like, don’t stand if you feel like it, say the words if you want, don’t say the words if they don’t want to," Pitzen said in the video, referring to how student take part in the pledge of allegiance in her class. "So my class decided to stand but not say the words. Totally fine. Except for the fact, my room does not have a flag....It used to be there," she said in the video, pointing to a corner of the whiteboard behind her. "But I took it down during COVID because it made me uncomfortable....."

"'In the meantime,' I tell this kid, 'We do have this flag in the class that you can pledge your allegiance to.' And he looks around and goes, 'Oh, that one?'" at which point Pitzen panned the camera to show a Progress Pride flag hanging on a wall in the classroom.

Pitzen had earlier posted a video to TikTok showing off the collection of Pride flags in her classroom, saying "I pledge allegiance to the queers."

A Rocklin Academy Gateway school teacher gave a lesson on transgenderism because a student was transitioning from a boy to a girl.  Ankur Dhawan's 5-year-old daughter attended school that day and told her mother what happened in class.  She said, 'Well, we learned about a girl in a boy's body,..." ...The teacher introduced the student to the class as a boy and then he went to the bathroom and emerged dressed as a girl. The teacher reintroduced the student explaining that he was "now a girl."  

Greg Burt who is the director of capitol engagement with the California Family Council said students were traumatized. ...."These kids who had never struggled with their gender identity before are all of a sudden scared they could be turned into a boy,"...Now some parents are considering taking legal action against the school district....Concerned parents went to the Pacific Justice Institute and the California Family Council to represent them...."They're concerned that they weren't notified this was coming,"...The school is defending their position saying they did not need to tell parents because gender identity is not the same as sex education...California state law only allows parents to opt their children out of sex education. ..."Diversity and tolerance curricula are not 'sex education,'" it reads. "California law explicitly provides that 'instruction or materials that discuss gender, sexual orientation, or family life and do not discuss human reproductive organs and their functions' are not subject to the parental notice and opt-out laws.'"

A lot of those on the "radical left" have never stepped foot outside of America or outside of the "Western world"  Newflash for the wokesters, the rest of the world operates FAR DIFFERENTLY compared to the confines of these hard Blue liberal "utopias"

Non-western cultures are far more reactive to someone threatening their children. You'll say it's not a threat. Well they don't see it that way. The real problem of course is it's going to be very hard to scream racism when you are dealing with a large group of Armenians. 

Point to note - THIS IS A VERY LARGE VOTING BLOCK AS WELL. Local politicians can't just ignore the Armenians here. They are mobilizing in droves, in force and have legitimate mass purchasing power in that area. 

Here's the question no one is asking - What happens when many parents are fed up with seeing their kids being indoctrinated and decide to go after the radical leftists to let them know that someone motivated and pissed off is "coming for you" right back?

Fights erupt as California parents protest Pride event at elementary school: 'They're too young

..A California father is boycotting his daughters' school, saying he is "fed up" with school officials after they reportedly ignored parents' concerns about a Pride event. For a lot of Democrats like Carvalho, this is open political poison. That's why they are ignoring parents. But they can't actually ignore parents under the mandates and duties of their jobs. It's not just one parent, it's clearly a lot of upset parents. You can't just ignore your actual job duties because it would cost you and your political allies a lot of votes and political donations and the optics around it will end up blowing up in your face in the national daily media cycle. 

Whether or not people here or out there agree or disagree with Grigoryan, he has a real point to make. He's a taxpayer. Carvalho works for the residents of Los Angeles. This is not some political feudal system where everyday working class Americans are a bunch of serfs and gilded labor for the "political limousine liberals" 

Carvalho actually has an obligation to Grigoryan and other parents to speak on the issue. That specific aspect of this controversy is completely indefensible.

@Blue Horseshoe You keep quoting my suggestion that you should hide in a bunker for 10 years to escape the LGBTQ army. You seem to take that somewhat seriously, but not seriously enough. Because you’re obviously not in the bunker. If you are truly scared of the LGBTQ invasion, you should stop posting immediately and go into lockdown. In 10 years, it should be safe to emerge from the doomsday bunker and start posting again. I’ll be waiting. Until then…
