And this part is going to be proven false, because after Trump loses the election next year, these cases will continue, and he will be sent to prison.

When he wins I will personally turn over your information to Trump Homeland Security.

Yes she ran on this, because Trump was escaping the law BECAUSE he was a politician. That was the abuse. Anybody else would be in prison. She refused to allow him to get away with it. It’s the exact opposite of what you’re saying.

She ran as being politically opposed to Trump, and then abused the legal system to deliver on a political vendetta.

Right now you are fine with it, as it serves your political perspective.   One day, this weaponization might be turned on a political actor that you support, and you will righly object....then come find me as we will be in lock step.

No, he is facing more......

New York Attorney General Letitia James is pressing for penalties of up to $250 million and a permanent ban on all three Trumps owning companies in their home state, among other restrictions.

This is a nuclear option, it is intended to destroy him.  But in reality it is a threat, and if he were to stop pursuing political office....we would see this all go away.  This is all part of the larger effort to find some way to get him out of the race. It is PURELY political, and in fact that DA ran on this....she told everyone this was going to happen, before she was ever elected.....its not good....

There’s a deal that if he drops out the charges are dropped 🤔

No, that is obvious.  Were he not a candidate for President none of this would be happening.  This is all an abuse of our systems to eliminate a viable political opponent.  Hence the mention of the 14th amendment etc.  Democrat leadership accepts that they cannot sway people......partly because their policies are so harmful that people are angry at them, but also because the people who support Trump seem immovable, perhaps to a sorta scary extent as well....

I submit, that if he were to assert he is no longer seeking office, we would see a gradual pulling back of the misuse of legal levers.....I am absolutely certain of it.  The left will abuse the law and moral codes to the fullest extent where it serves their political goals.  Their pursuit of power supercedes all else.

Him being Prez and being a complete has definitely gotten him higher profile. If he didn’t run for Prez these cases would all be going on still IMO.

We can agree to disagree.  Though, could you perhaps point to any other businessman in the past that was treated thusly?  I suggest you cannot, most of these actions are novel, and some of them misuse concepts from the 1800's.

When this is revisited upon those political players with whom you align ideologically, you will (and should) object.  Because it will be wrong when the Republicans do it back, and then we can be in lock step.

That’s really what he’s saying. Electing a black man as president was the end of this country.

But that is the root belief. It’s what was behind the tea party and the birther movement, which then begat Trump and MAGA.

The law would have to be changed so it’s doubtful. I read somewhere that the Supreme Court would have to take a stand.

Trump knows they won't allow it, so he can tell his bootlicking authoritarian bastard (shout out to @jonmx for the fun jargon!) supporters he DOES, and they'll blame "derpity derp deep state" interference in transparency when he gets convicted, thereby continuing his hold over them. Violence will ensue.

More of you telling me what I think, none correct. This is why you're a dipshit. And why I call you out on it. You don't know what you think you do, and you're a sick, deranged fu<knut because of it. I'm not joking when I call you a terrorist in waiting. You sound exactly like the kind of lunatic that would perpetrate violence against your perceived "enemies." Do you have a lengthy manifesto stuffed in a drawer somewhere? Pound sand, kook.

Agree with everything except the last sentence. There may be a few loner nuts like the guy that attacked Paul Pelosi, but I doubt we’ll see anything like 1/6 again. Too many people got arrested. Trump was hoping for a violent reaction when he’s been indicted, particularly in Georgia or Florida where he knows he has a lot of support. But nothing happened. Because his supporters these days are not willing to break the law for him.

Bidens supporters are more than willing to break the law for him. See riots, summer of 2020. And beyond.

I hope you're right, but am pretty sure you're not. I'll refer you to the posts of Mr. Mx. A few more nudges is all it will take to put wingnuts over the edge, and the upcoming nudges will be more like 7.5 earthquakes to those that are gullible enough to continue supporting Trump. They believe their country is being destroyed from within, that the courts and the rest of the establishment is unjust and against them. They've shown what they're willing to do. They will just be much more careful this time. Like terrorists.
