I heard somebody make a suggestion this morning: at all future debates, whenever people start calling each other liars, there could be some expert on stage that would say “actually yes this is true” or “no that’s not correct”. A fact checker that would serve the same purpose as instant replay. 
 

The only problem is nobody would agree on who the fact checker should be so it probably wouldn’t work. But I was intrigued by the idea.

You know what a better suggestion would be?  Cut off the mic of anyone who starts interrupting the other.  I'm smart enough to figure out who is BSing me.  You're not but I am.  So I don't need the ministry of Truth up there telling me who I should believe.  But they don't cut the mic off and it makes the debate unwatchable.  I watched the first 20 minutes or so of this one and it was disgusting.  Had to turn it off.  Those are supposed to be grown men?  They acted like 6 year olds.

- getting vaccines prevent the spread.    Primary purpose of the jab is to decrease the severity of covid cases, not to prevent the spread.  Some vaccines are effective enough to prevent the spread of the target disease, but the covid vaccines aren't there yet.

- a 2 degree warming is the tripping point   Yeah, never understood where this tipping point came from.   I hope that this tipping point isn't real, as we're going to sail past it.

- oceans will rise 20' in the near future   Again, depends on your definition of "near future", but the most doom and gloom forecasts I've seen have a 20' ocean rise in the second half of this century, which doesn't seem like the near future.

I actually agree with you on this point. Though I don’t think you’re always smart enough to know who is telling the truth. Nobody is. For instance, the ten minutes of the debate last night that I watched (all I could tolerate) had the two guys completely contradicting each other about statistics in a wide number of topics. I would have liked to have seen, in real time, what the actual truth was. 
 

But I do agree with your point as well. The absolute worst debate I ever watched was the first one between Trump and Biden in 2020. Last night was #2.

 - For medical questions, a major source of high-quality, reputable meta-analyses is Cochrane, a UK-based nonprofit that publishes long and comprehensive meta-analyses of current evidence on medical and therapeutic interventions...according to the Cochrane review: “Wearing masks in the community probably makes little or no difference to the outcome of laboratory-confirmed influenza/SARS-CoV-2 compared to not wearing masks.”

You’re right when I read your responses posted earlier I took the next thing you posted and didn’t even read it and just assumed it was something countering the lab theory.

Because it makes clear that Hunter is getting paid millions by countries like Ukraine and China for having access to and influence to his dad, and his dad is being enriched as well.   So even if part of the reason the US is sending Billions and Billions in military and foreign aid to the Ukraine is because of the millions in the pockets of the Bidens, that should be a major concern and elevates to an impeachable offense.  And that is not even considering how close to war (and possibly nuclear war) our ties to Ukraine have brought us, which raises his personal entanglement with Ukraine into treason.
