At least they’re not the Football Giants.

Not sure the Patriots are dumb enough to give the Mac version of Jones 160 million. But if Belicheat is still doing contracts, he might do that to spit in Kraft's face, once again.

Giants have some big names and still cant muster up with Jones what some of these teams are doing with 3rd stringers.

What big names do the giants have?

Barkley and ummm ahh hmm

Exactly.  Barkley who's played half the games this season, and the worst offensive line ever fielded.  Dodger is an idiot.

I recall you filed a scouting report this summer and said that Waller couldn’t be covered. I’d pipe down if I were you.

Was going to mention Barkley can almost be categorize as injury prone, he's the modern day Fred Taylor.

A scouting report?  Waller has been hurt too.  I'd go fock yourself if I were you.

He’s played more than enough. And he can be covered.

I thought bill o'brien was a better coordinator than this. He had many crappy QB's that he worked with down in Houston and managed to get yards/points out of them.

What he did with Penn state without any scholarships was also impressive.

I wonder why he is failing so bad this year.

But what about all those big names?  Isaiah Hodgins! Marcus McKethan! Matt Breida!  BIG NAMES!

What gives with the Giants OL? Bad coaching, lack of spending $ and picks on the position, just flat out busting? Seems like that unit has been mediocre to awful for decades.

Not decades, it's really only been awful since about 2017.

Ereck Flowers drafted 9th overall was a big miss, supposed to be franchise LT, was awful.

Then signing an aging and overrated Nate Solder was another big mistake.

Followed by some other bad draft and FA choices, and finally now bad coaching and lack of depth.

I believe they are on the right path with a franchise LT (who got hurt in the first quarter of the season and hasn't played), franchise C (rookie who missed games to injury as well), RT still has hope but hasn't shown it yet (Go back to bad coaching).  I would like to see the OLine coach fired, like any minute now.

They have invested in FA and picks, but missed on many, suffered injuries and have bad coaching.

There he is , anointing a rookie as a franchise C that has played 4 games. The Mush is on.

Got it, thanks.

I read an article that implied Danny Dimes took sacks at a much higher % of the time he was pressured vs. Tyrod behind the same line. The sample size is small but it made me wonder if Dimes’ lack of pocket awareness was a contributing factor to how bad the OL has looked. Other than the 2 Eagles games per year I don’t see enough Football Giants games to know.

Tyrod definitely played better and wasn't scared to throw downfield.  Dimes looked broken to me ever since game 1, and having the terrible line just made things worse.  I'm curious to see if he'll look better coming off the injury or if he's just been scarred for life.

Giants didn’t score any more under Tyrod but he had I think zero turnovers in 2+ starts vs. 7 in 5 games for Dimes. It’s ugly.

Zappe was a flash in the pan. Fun for the couple games it lasted but he’s too limited.

Zappe finally getting another chance.  This guy must svck during practices because its kinda mind boggling he's finally getting a another start after the sh!t show that is Mac Jones.  In both of his starts in 2022 he was very good.  17/21/188/1 and 24/34/308/2 in what were both wins.  Then inexplicably doesn't get another chance to start a game until Mac Jones proves beyond ANY reasonable doubt that he ain't got the goods.  I know Zappe probably doesn't have "it" either but it's good to see him getting another look.  I'll go out on a limb and say he's much better the Mac hijack.
