Seen the words "insurrection" and "coup" about the "January 6" thing often on this site.

Ya see what we're dealing with here? They argue EVERYTHING! Even when they're dead to rights. Doesn't matter because Pedocrats gonna Pedo.

This is a red herring. It’s just BS to distract away from the real issue at hand here. You know this. I don’t expect Peefoam to know any better but you have common sense right?

I laid out the real issue for you. Forget about Orangeman's Little "Insurrection" for a second.

The FACT of the matter is that Nancy Pelosi, the Head of Capitol Security ORDERED Capitol Police to STAND DOWN.

Bottom line, this never should of happened, but it did, ONLY because she let it.

Where exactly am I wrong? This is all factual. There's even a video of it posted here.

No, we blame Pelosi because she didn't secure the Capitol. It's her job. She obviously ordered them to Stand Down. That's called a controlled Insurrection my friend.

There lies have been proven wrong already.

So you make up a lie with no facts or evidence, then when I provide facts and evidence disputing your lie, you ignore them because you don't like the source. You're a joke my friend, a literal clown.

No where in that video does he say that pelosi ordered the capitol police to stand down.

In fact, Sund blames Trump for not calling in the national guard

Dumbass.

  • The Speaker of the House and Democrat leadership were closely involved in security decisions in the lead up to and on January 6, 2021.
  • The House Sergeant at Arms took direction from staff in the office of the Speaker of the House and intentionally excluded Republicans from key meetings and conversations related to House security.
  • Staff within the House Sergeant at Arms office emailed Paul Irving that January 6th was Pelosi’s fault.
  • Widespread concern from Democrat leadership over “optics” in the aftermath of summer 2020.
  • The Leadership of the Intelligence and Interagency Coordination Division overhauled the division in the weeks before January 6, 2021 and created new processes for obtaining and assessing intelligence data. Those changes caused confusion and rendered key USCP components ineffective during a critical period.
  • The House Sergeant at Arms was compromised by politics in the lead up to and on January 6, 2021 and did not adequately prepare the Capitol for possible violence.
  • U.S. Capitol police did not give officers the appropriate training necessary to prepare them to protect the Capitol from violence.
  • The U.S. Capitol police does not have the equipment necessary to protect its officers.
  • The command-and-control structure of the U.S. Capitol Police and the Capitol Police Board contributed to unnecessary delays in the decision-making on January 6, 2021.
  • The U.S. Capitol police has still not implemented important recommendations issued by oversight bodies.

If this is accurate sure we should have had more people there. This is not the important issue. This idea it was done on purpose to make Trump look bad is fabricated version of events to lay blame elsewhere and distract.

The Orangeman got all these rubes wound up by his nonsense. He’s a dangerous person and not suited for this job. Why you all line up for this guy after this is the mystery of my lifetime.

A federal judge has allowed the special counsel investigating former President Donald J. Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election access to about 1,700 messages from the seized phone of Representative Scott Perry of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Perry, the chairman of the right-wing House Freedom Caucus who played a role in attempts to overturn the election, had sought to keep the messages from prosecutors. But in an order late Tuesday, James E. Boasberg, the chief judge of the Federal District Court in Washington, prohibited federal prosecutors from retrieving just 396 messages from more than 2,000.

Judge Boasberg wrote that those messages were covered by the Constitution’s speech or debate clause, which provides protections for lawmakers’ legislative discussions, while also ordering that a majority be turned over.

The messages could offer additional evidence for Jack Smith, the special counsel leading the federal election case against Mr. Trump. Judge Boasberg said they concerned Mr. Perry’s attempts to get information about possible voter fraud; influence people outside the federal government; discuss Vice President Mike Pence’s certification of Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s victory; and communicate about the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.

Liberals see what they want to see, believe what they want to believe but do as they're told. In this regard Liberals are the closest thing to Nazis.

Hot take:  President Trump needs to issue an EO on day one that leads to incarceration for treason for anyone pushing insurrection and Russian interference lies or any other wild conspiracy that undermine his presidency.

Agreed. Trump has finally been charged for some of his bad behavior. Unfortunately you refuse to see it that way.

And you refuse to see that Bidens “bad Behavior” is worse. Unless you’re ok with him sicking the FBI on his opponents , even civilians. And much more.

I'm more than happy to support a non-Trump Republican and let Biden fade away into history. Four years ago I was convinced I'd never vote for a Republican for the rest of my life, so I've moved a good distance on that front due to Biden's many shortcomings. I'm not okay with any of the things you mention above. But you're going to vote for the guy under multiple indictments that's talking openly about doing those things. That's some serious cognitive disconnect.

Really? I don’t have much of a choice. The guy there now is making us less safe and less wealthy at every turn.  The other guy is grotesque but effective and will at least attempt to undo what this corrupt old fool has wrought upon us. If I could snap my fingers and make Desantis the candidate and Trump out, I would. I can’t. I’m at at wedding in the middle of the desert and my two choices are a piece of old fish and overcooked cheap steak with ketchup. I’ll take the steak.  How’s  your fish tasting? It won’t get fresh all of a sudden.

Maine with quite possibly the most anti-Democratic act in American history.  Not a stretch to call it tyranny.  Unbelievable to see this in the United States.  One person - a Secretary of State - uses her own (flawed) interpretation of the 14th Amendment, and Donald Trump’s role in January 6th, to remove from the ballot the leading candidate for President.  This actually happened.  Good Lord we need another Revolution or Civil War in this country -asap.

It’s state law that dictates how that issue is resolved. It’s not like the Secretary of State simply took it upon themselves to make the determination.

Try not to sound so stupid
