I get your point, and it has simple common sense....which I appreciate.  You are thinking past the dogmatic politics of it, which is really pretty cool.  If these people, continually disaffected as they might be, were hopeful then i submit they would be firmly behind Biden..... and not gravitate toward Trump.

It is that Biden has lied and misled them.....that he still refuses to properly acknowledge the harm......that motivates these people to move away from him.

Correct, they do it for a variety of factors around the failures of the current administration, but in this instance I am looking toward those polling and those impacted as this and immigration represent the best factors to sway the election toward Trump.
