seafoam1 2,819 Posted January 5, 2024 Carolina Panthers have not held a lead in the 4th quarter this year. Both of their wins came as time expired. If they do the same in their last game, it will be the first time in NFL history. Just heard this mentioned on xm radio.

MDC 7,166 Posted January 5, 2024 Got to go with the ‘76 Tampa Bay Bucs. They still have the worst point differential (-287) despite only playing a 14-game season.
seafoam1 2,819 Posted January 5, 2024 As a kid I went to a Bears/New Orleans game at Soldier Field. I was pretty young. I think they were both winless, not sure. It was freezing out, and they didn't plow the snow from the stands. I froze my feet off and the Bears lost 3-0. Still don't know how I remained a fan. Ron_Artest 1,112 Posted January 5, 2024 The Browns were 0-16 in 2017. Saying a team that has won games is worse than a winless team is classic peefoam

My only point was that a team who ends the season with a less win/loss record than another team is not necessarily an indicator of them being a worse team. And vice versa. Hardcore troubadour 14,993 Posted January 5, 2024 I had Calvin in 2008. I’ll always love the 0-16 lions. Championship! But yeah, they were really, really bad. Was that the year the QB ran out of the back of the end zone?

Against Minnesota(last time I paid for anything Lions related by the way), Anyway, they were getting beaten. We had good seats and saw Dominic Raiola face the crowd and give them a double finger salute--this was a home game mind you. Also during that game Calvin caught an incredible pass up the sideline right in front of us. That Orlovsky play I believe did happen in 2008. Again, against the Vikings, but in Minnesota

Hands down the worst. It was not done the same way expansion teams have been subsequently formed, which is to say that had to recruit their entire team from free agents, not by selecting players from existing teams. They literally started from scratch and the results showed on the field.
seafoam1 2,819 Posted January 5, 2024 The 2000 Chargers with Ryan Leaf and Jim Harbaugh threw for a total of 19 TDs and 30 INTs. Jermaine Fazande was their lead RB. I vote for this team as the worst.
