CA can't even take care of it's own citizens, but will go out of their way to take care of illegals.  What a cesspool of a state.  We need to ensure nobody moves out of CA unless they can prove they voted Republican consistently over the years.  We don't want those cockroaches infesting and ruining other areas of the US.

The issue of gender affirming surgery is secondary. It’s such a rare thing that it’s irrelevant, IMO, to the greater discussion.

California is one of the world’s largest economies and we’re not going to collapse. But if we did I can guarantee you it would not be glorious for any part of America. Our economy pays for most of the rest of you.

The best part is this: 

"When somebody enters the country, we place them in immigration enforcement proceedings pursuant to immigration law, and if their claim for relief, their claim to remain in the United States succeeds, then by law they are able to stay here," he said.

 

What he doesn't say is that it's backlogged for what, 4+ years?    That's the damn issue.   It's not THEN they are able to stay here - we already let them in.   It's more like then we hope they show up or hope they leave.    Good luck with this system.
