The difference between Trump and Biden is that Trump is very good at catching himself when he suffers an aphasia or loses his thought process. Biden is not. Biden just pauses and mumbles whereas Trump will just launch into another line of thinking relying on his catch phrases, and he's repeated his schtick so many times it just comes as natural.
