Justin Fields traded to Pittsburgh (For Dog Dirt)

No. That’s a historically shitt division. 3 SB’s in the last 50 years. Only the AFC south has less and they have two expansion teams.

I'm living in the present. There are 4 teams in the NFC North that are better than the Giants and the Redskins and possibly the eagles at this point. Dallas is a question mark. But they should be ok.

Should be a fun year.

That’s what the man on the TV said. Who am I to correct him?

And beyond that both have body guards and they both have eyesight and working olfactory senses so they definitely will be avoiding me.  Still, there is some possibility, remote though it may be, that we three get stranded on a small desert island after the apocalypse.

Bears draft QB Justin Fields at No. 11 after trading up with Giants

https://www.nfl.com/news/bears-trade-up-to-no-11-with-giants-draft-qb-justin-fields

Quote

The Bears executed a draft-day trade with the New York Giants, moving from No. 20 to No. 11 overall to select Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields.

Chicago sent the No. 20 overall pick and a fifth-rounder this year (No. 164 overall) in addition to 2022 first- and fourth-round picks to secure its quarterback of the future.

Poles got DJ Moore, Darnell Wright, Tyrique Stevenson, possibly Caleb Williams or another QB, and a 2nd next year for a 1st round pick last year.

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I’ll take Fields over Wilson. Russ isn’t going to fair well in the Steel City and his fragile ego won’t be able to handle the fans. I predict Pittsburgh will break him.

They didnt play football last season

I know and very little td's, amazing part is they made the playoffs and would probably had 12 wins if they never played Tribusky. That is why I say this team is close to competing for a title with decent QB play.

Packs of gum can't be that hard to come by in Chicago.  Isn't Wrigley's headquartered there, or have they since outsourced to Cambodia?

In 2021 the Cowboys took Micah Parsons at 12 after the Giants/Chicago Fields pick. The Giants at 20 selected Kadarius Toney.

That pick in 2022 became the 7th overall pick which the Giants used to draft Evan Neal OT and he sucks.

 Poor, Giants got a haul and their team is still a dumpster fire.

But look to the bright side, they paid daniel jones $160M to be their savior QB.

Field's cost the Bears a whole fully "guaranteed contract gives Fields an average annual salary of $4,717,989."

:shocking:

That's like a backup defensive tackle on any team NFL.

You're a fudge packer fan. That's why you cry incessantly about the Bears. My bringing it up is relevent. You are emotional. It's so easy to see you feelers come to life. 😆

no, it wasn't. they made a move to get what could be a good QB. They didn't help him enough, and it turns out the 4th QB drafted in a year might need a lot. He had plenty of starts, and just turned out to be not very good. no team in the league wanted him to be their starter. He is a great athlete, he can run, that is as good as it gets. Mac got traded for a 6th. I thought Justin would get a bit more, which with the potential 4th, they did.

Why? He was a cheap stand-in for a rebuilding team. I'm glad they didn't pay out $160M for him over 4 years while they look for a new QB.

This is the trade that matters...

Carolina gets: #1 overall in 2023 draft

Bears get: Darnell Wright, Tyrique Stevenson, DJ Moore, Caleb Williams?, and a 2025 2nd.

Peafoam is the Bears of the Geek Club.

Utterly incompetent, constantly showing how dumb they are, but thinks they know what they are doing.

It’s not. Last year was the first year of his contract. He will be gone  after this year. You think he’s getting the whole 160? Do you not know how NFL contracts work? He will get half that. But seriously, go on. It’s amusing.
