Tracklist: Blue Moon Cat People The Emperor I Forgot Man's Job Conspiracy Theories The Climb Accept The Shipwreck Song Brothers in Blood The Down Harvey Funny side note: While recording The Shipwreck Song - an instrumental built around a drum beat I couldn't get out of my head - I plugged my laptop into the recording device and pulled shipwreck sounds off YouTube. I had the Geek Club up on another window, and right around the 4:30 mark, you responded to one of my posts, and you can hear that DOINK! on the track. The Emperor is about a soul-sucking jerk I used to work for, not about Trump. I wrote it long before Trump took office, as was Brothers in Blood, about our country sliding into civil war. Pimpadeaux 2,281 Posted March 21 3 minutes ago, OldMaid said: Thanks for proving it will be an honorable death. Nah, it's a bouncy, happy little instrumental. You weren't around when I launched my tradition of posting my music, starting with "Shark Dance" in the early 2000s. I went on to post four more albums. I mailed CDs of my first three albums to dozens of Geeks throughout the land. I think I even mailed one to Mike. For the longest time, I had links to all five in my Rusty signature line, but rurbaniak, who hosted the links, let them go at some point. All five are on Spotify and YouTube. Burt managed to get "Million Tire Man" off "Shark Dance" played at some hole-in-the-wall bar in Montana. So there is more to all this than you might realize. I've been torturing Geeks with my music for two decades. It took me a decade to put together "Harvey." "Blue Moon" gave me tennis elbow and sidelined me for a bit. Then I recorded Accept, The Climb, The Emperor and Cat People before a gang of cats busted into my office, peed on my recording device and frying it. I returned to recording a couple of years ago after Rusty II saved "Blue Moon," for which I had the wrong setting for the drum track, and he remastered and put all my stuff online. TheNewGirl 1,042 Posted March 21 Any remakes of Shark Dance on there? Perhaps a more modern version? I still have my Rusty CDs around here somewhere. Probably next to some original Sara Bareilles CDs before she got all famous and junk.

Probably next to some original Sara Bareilles CDs before she got all famous and junk. Rusty II remastered Shark Dance, but I haven't gone back and redone any of them, which I'm thinking about doing. It was horrifically recorded and produced. I learned the hard way that recording real drums is a science and that drums and bass need to be way higher in the mix, so a lot of the songs sounds too damned thin. I remember staying up to 4 a.m. drunkenly trying to nail the "Buttmont Boogie" drum track.
