I’m glad you don’t like it but when you write that he’s being “childish” , and when you mock the fear of dictatorship, I think you still don’t get it. The two are connected. This isn’t some whim on Trump’s part, it’s a deliberate strategy to delegitimize existing authority in our society so that he can replace it. That’s what taking down the “deep state” is all about. The implicit part of Trump’s accusation here is that the FBI is corrupt, the government is corrupt. Every would be dictator has used this exact playbook.

People like MTG running with the "assassination" message is part of what I was alluding to with "unintended consequences."  I don't think that is good.

I will say though that at 1:27 Steve Bannon claimed they had a medic, trauma center, and a hospital lined up 18 miles away.  If so, that seems a little more than "boilerplate language."

Anyway, these are the things that made me wish there was a better option for POTUS this year.

First, I wouldn't believe a thing that Steve Bannon says.  But I'm just pointing out that along with some of the other "misinformed" threads we have lately, this is how people get misinformed. I looked it up, MTG tweeted that to 3.2 million people, who knows how much Bannon reaches, and in the earlier post I showed a bunch of Fox talking heads raving about this too. 

The is a intentional misinformation campaign going on in this country.   Just saying.

This was already debunked you idiot.  They were not trying to kill Trump.  Trump wasn't even there, they knew Trump wasn't there, the SS and FBI coordinated on the search, there was no special order to kill or anything like that.  And this whole search could have been avoided if Trump did obstruct and simply complied with the request like everyone else who had documents.
