Trump's NY Election Interference Trial - Trump is found guilty on all 34 counts

I don't think this is going to work out the way you think it is regarding the upcoming election.

You keep repeating this. Yet so far as I know there hasn’t been a single person in this forum who has predicted this will kill Trump’s chances of winning the election.

I HOPE it does. I would love to think that there’s a lot of Americans who won’t vote for a convicted felon. But I also didn’t want to believe that millions of people would vote for a bigot, a wannabe dictator, a xenophobe, an incompetent boob. Sadly I was proven wrong. So who knows?

Can’t speak for @GutterBoy but I absolutely believe this. However my main reasons  for opposing him are his policies, which are terrible for America, his desire to be a dictator, his bigotry, and his incompetence. Corruption is way down the list for me.

Did you miss my words about jury instructions?

Cmon, at least try.  :lol:

OK, I'll try.

https://www.kcra.com/article/read-jury-instructions-trump-trial/60939715

Quote

• They must not make a decision based on biases or stereotypes;
• They must set aside personal differences;
• They must not speculate about how long a potential sentence may be or what the punishment might be – that's up to the judge;
• They can't hold it against Trump for not testifying;
• The "people must prove beyond a reasonable doubt every element of the crime." He reminds the jury it must not rest its verdict on speculation;
• They can consider whether a witness hopes to receive a benefit related to the trial, or if they have an interest in how the case ends;
• They cannot convict Trump on Michael Cohen's testimony alone because he's an accomplice, but they can use his evidence if corroborated with other evidence;
• The jury must be unanimous if they find Trump guilty on each count – on whether he committed the crime personally, acted in concert with others or both;
• They must determine if Trump conspired to promote someone or prevent them from public office by unlawful means;
• They should deliberate with a view toward reaching an agreement, without surrendering individual judgment;
• Jurors' notes cannot be used in place of evidence;
• The foreperson will deliver the verdict for each count after deliberations are over;
• Jurors must surrender their phones and can only discuss the case when all 12 of them are together.

Merchan explained some key laws in the case:

On the law applicable to falsifying business records, Merchan told the jury:

"You must find beyond a reasonable doubt first that he solicited, requested, commanded, importuned or intentionally aided that person to engage in that conduct, and second, that he did so with the state of mind required with the commission of the offense."

What about these jury instructions do you find unfair and unreasonable?

Seems to me the MAGAturd deciding within the parameters of these instructions points to a fair trial, boyo.

Maybe you don't remember but he already served 4 years as POTUS. And your "reasons" have been proven to be invalid.

Mebbe the fact that they weren't allowed to have those instructions during deliberations.

When has that ever happened before?

I remember. They were terrible years for us. The only thing that saved this country were some of his advisors who kept him from doing stuff too crazy. However this didn’t help us during Covid when his incompetence helped kill thousands of people.

I highly recommend the book “The Divider” which is the best work I’ve read on his first term. It’s based entirely on interviews with Republicans who worked for him.

Why wasn't this court case televised? Seems all high profile court cases are televised these days. Not this one. You'd think a slam dunk case against public enemy #1 would be broadcast live for everyone to see.

Weird.

They were the best years in recent memory for millions of Americans.

That is until a poorly timed world wide epidemic rooned everything.

What the hell are you talking about:

Quote

Judge Juan Merchan delivered his instructions to jurors before they began deliberations in former President Donald Trump's hush money trial.

Here's what Merchan told the jury:

MAGAturds are running out of straws to grasp and deflections to attempt.

At what do you morons take the L and realize that this guy is a convicted felon?

Theres a 99% chance he never read that book.  Its wise to ignore him whenever he tries to bring up something personal since its almost always a lie.

The more you know..

You just talked about having sex with my wife and kids.  Grown up my ass.

I'm a man of character and I expect the person leading my country to have high character as well.  You don't.  That says more about you than anything.  His policies suck too.

Because that legal description only describes the misdemeanor offense which statute of limitations ran out over 5 years ago.  The crime that raises this to a felony is not described or what the elements of those crimes are.

Thanks for proving my point, cupcake.

Repeat back to me about what he has said about Hillary Clinton, Ron DeSantis, Nikki Hailey and myriad other political opponents and critics.

https://www.citizensforethics.org/reports-investigations/crew-investigations/trump-has-threatened-dozens-of-times-to-use-the-government-to-target-political-enemies/

Quote

CREW analyzed over 13,000 of Trump’s Truth Social posts from January 1, 2023 to April 1, 2024, and found that while Trump has recently backed off some of his more violent rhetoric, threatening political opponents has been a consistent fixation for Trump. Since the start of last year, Trump has issued direct or implied threats on Truth Social to use the powers of the federal government to target Joe Biden during a second Trump administration 25 times. Specifically, Trump has threatened him with FBI raids, investigations, indictments and even jail time.

But Biden is not Trump’s only target. He’s also threatened or suggested that the FBI and the Department of Justice should take action against senators, judges, members of Biden’s family and even non-governmental organizations.

Trump’s posts should not be taken as empty threats, but rather as a call to action for Congress to put in place meaningful guardrails against the weaponization of the military and federal government’s law enforcement agencies—before it’s too late.

It's so easy owning dumb, deluded MAGAturds.

🤣
