That is the official spin from the court, but why was Merchan assigned to the grand jury trial and why the 4 other trials.  One could be luck, but multiple trials is 100 percent BS.   Besides, in this high profile and important case, the judge should not have any conflict, and this judge did.   The odds are still astronomical even with just 4 cases. 

And you are too cowardly to go through point by point because you will lose.  BTW, your are the one using talking points you copied from the official statement of the crooked court.   My points are mine.  You are the brainless idiot bootlicking for a corrupt authoritarian power who are interfering in the election.  The court needs to be investigated to cut through their BS.

Following his felony convictions. Donald Trump was required to report to probation services to prepare a post conviction pre sentencing report for Judge Merchan. Trump blew off the requirement and left the courthouse before he visited with his new probation officers. That may have been a big mistake Judge Merchan depends on the probation report to determine Trump’s sentence. If he cannot follow the rules of probation. Prison may be the necessary sentence.

Whether Trump is sentenced to prison, probation or a ‘split sentence’ of prison and probation. Probation services are about to be a big part of Donald Trump’s life. Criminals on probation are supposed to accept their guilt and show some signs of remorse and retribution for their crimes. Trump is not likely to do that. If Trump doesn‘t follow the rules. He can and will be violated and sentenced to prison.

As a convicted felon, Trump no longer has the freedoms that are afforded to those of us without a felony conviction. One restriction will be on Trump’s travel. As a convicted felon Trump will need permission to leave his state of residence. His passport will be seized and any foreign travel will be prohibited or greatly restricted by his rules of probation. Not only that but many countries do not allow felons to enter their county. This conviction will drastically change Trump‘s life. I do not see Trump successfully completing a sentence of probation if that is his sentence.

Watched some NewsNation reruns of the Cuomo show tonight. I was out of town this week and out of pocket a bit. They had Mark Geragos on who said this was over at jury selection because this happened in Manhattan. He made the point that while he disagreed with Trump on the issues he did agree with that. He made the case any jury brings their own baggage and experience and when you bring in a pool that over 85% voted against Trump this was over before it started. His best shot was an outside chance at a hung jury. 
 

That kind of fits with what I was thinking all along and we discussed. It’s why I didn’t really watch any of it and really can’t discuss specifics because I simply didn’t follow it. I knew the end, why watch the movie.
