Regarding Ukraine, I'm not exactly sure what the plan is.  It reminds me of a project I was on early in my career.  The finance guy told me that our funding was just enough to keep us on life support.  I think his exact phrase was "keep us from turning blue from lack of oxygen."  I got a new job shortly thereafter.

Perhaps it is some sort of 4D chess to keep Russia distracted and depleting resources.  But I don't see an end game.

Back to the weakness, I do think that world leaders, particularly the Putin/Xi/Ayatollah types, view Biden as feeble and, by association, weak.  I've been saying since before the 2020 election that Biden had begun cognitive decline.  Folks like you didn't see it (or didn't want to see it), but it was there if you but looked.

Well I guess that's a nice baseless opinion.  The European leaders want Biden because they know he supports them and NATO, and they fear Trump/Putin.

You're right I didn't see the Biden decline before 2020, wasn't really paying attention, same way you don't see Trump's decline.
