I started to get enthusiastic about her a couple of months ago when I heard her give some interesting interviews. Then, the day after Biden quit, I heard her first speech- and I thought “Reagan”: sunny and optimistic and she’s improved incredibly as a speaker since 2020. Then I heard more speeches and started to get really excited. I think she’s going to win, and I think she’s going to be a good President.

I prefer the way Harris is approaching the election to what Biden was doing, I think his "threat to Democracy" excrement was both played out and highly divisive. Harris seems to at least be pointing to the future and trying to explain how she would be better.  This is a movement back toward some normality in politics. I give her credit for this, and it is welcomed.

Now that being said, she also has been playing up the inane "dictator" line, unfortunately.....and then saying he would weaponize the DOJ against his political enemies.... 

I revel in how the Democrats now fret over Trump doing back to them.....what THEY have been doing for years.   You opened the door dipsh!ts, now brace as it comes back to you.....

I understand that we might not see it the same.

Trump is not the threat here....the people who wanted to change SCOTUS because it was not giving them what they wanted....who want to change it further because unless SCOTUS gives in to their way of thinking it must be "fixed".  The people who weaponized the DOJ are the threat.  The people who now want to push legislation around attacking a President criminally at their whim are the threat.  Democrats consistently are an active threat to actual Democracy.

The Democrats are once again making moves for what scratches an itch today, with no regard for the later impacts.  It is something they do over and over.....and the weaponization of that DOJ is something they fear.....they know how they used it, and Republican led government could turn that weaponry on to them....and they know it

At least here you tried to make some arguments. Too bad they’re completely false: 

1. No voting process was subverted. Biden bowed out. The Democrats then followed the rules. In any event if you’re not a Democrat these rules have nothing to do with you. The Democratic Party is not part of the government or beholden to anyone except the Democratic Party. 

2. FWIW I am opposed to expanding the Supreme Court; so is Joe Biden, so are many Democrats. But doing so, while a bad idea, is not a threat to democracy. The number of Supreme Court members has changed many times in our history. When I argue that Trump is a threat to our democracy I am arguing that he will attempt to subvert it through extralegal and corrupt means, like his attempt to stay in power after the 2020 election. Not to changes in the law proposed and passed by Congress.

What you're trying to assert here is that Democrats are victims because they didn't have a say at the ballot regarding Harris.

Democrats are not complaining about this. Only Republicans are complaining about this because their boyo is now in deep doo doo in this campaign, with an sputtering, old Biden on the ticket their greatest political asset.

What you don't understand about the system is that it is the delegates who decide who goes on the tickets, and the delegates, who represent voters, have swung to Harris with Biden's blessing.

But I love that it gives the MAGA bunch something else to whine about, and whining is about all they do.
