Why would a black person vote for Trump

If you want to help black people in this country here is how to do it:

1. More federal spending in general in the inner cities: Biden and the Democrats are in favor, Trump and the Republicans are opposed.

2. More federal spending on public education in the inner cities: Biden and the Democrats are in favor, Trump and the Republicans are opposed.

3. Federal regulations in order to combat systemic racism by police in this country: Biden and the  Democrats are in favor; Trump and the Republicans are opposed. (In addition Trump wants to move in the opposite direction by giving cops a “free hand” to do whatever they want.)

4. Federal regulation in order to combat several southern states attempts to weaken the Voting Rights Act in order to weaken black voting: Biden and the Democrats are in favor, Trump and the Republicans are opposed.

This is funny... it's funny because everything that you put here, has been what Democrats have been doing for decades and it's been proven that it doesn't work.  So your solution is to throw more money at it (which is what has been going on for decades), instead of doing it the way Republican's suggest.  Even more interesting is that there's decades of proof that your way doesn't work, and in fact, proof that it makes things worse.  All while there's no evidence (or proof), that the way Republicans want to handle things won't work... well, other than Democrats saying it won't.

Kids can’t read because of money? We’re talking reading here, not physics.

So you're saying that Trump is a liar and has done nothing for blacks, the same as Biden?

No, what I'm saying is that what you're accusing Trump and Republicans of, Biden and the Democrats already did that.  On top of that, you're condemning Republican's for supporting Trump while you continue to support Biden.  What I'm doing, is calling you a hypocrite.

Tiny has had an awful hard time since coming off the bench.  I think the time out must have really hurt his psyche.

I provided the only evidence I could find numb nuts.  You refuse to share anything, along with others.

There is no evidence that shows he's been the best president for blacks.  It was a pandering lie and you're refusing to bail him out on this one.

So you didn't read your own thread.   Got it.

Your points here are not completely wrong. There have been plenty of flaws with the way Democrats have handled things. I disagree with you that they have made things worse. I think spending money has, overall, made things much better. Just not fast enough, because (a) not enough has been spent and (b) a lot of it has been spent stupidly.

But by far the biggest part you got wrong is what I bolded: “doing it the way the Republicans suggest.” The problem is they don’t suggest anything, not anymore. There are no Jack Kemps in the GOP, haven’t been for years. All the Republicans under Trump do is oppose. They’re against all of it and have no helpful counter proposals. Trump, as I wrote, wants to give more power to the police.

According to many, black people have it way worse now, because we need more racism... DEI.  If things were getting better, we wouldn't need that, right?  If things were getting better, we wouldn't need education institutions lowering standards so that black people can meet them.

Yeah, I know, the guy who penned the Prison Reform Act that allowed the prison release of black people that Biden helped put there in the first place, he's against black people.  Black people, the real victims of crime, want more police presence too.  Weird how that is.

Hey Tim, what is the Democrat proposal for this?

3. Federal regulations in order to combat systemic racism by police in this country.

Those Libs sure make things simple.  Who needs critical thinking?   Throw more money at it!  Its always the solution.

Inner city schools are apparently dumps.  You should take a field trip around parts of rural USA and check those schools out.

I totally understand those schools dont matter since their student body is mostly whites.

Or you could go to rural black schools.  Check them out too.  I havent been to any but I can imagine.

But its always "inner city schools" that get the publicity.

All my tax dollars get sent down state to NYC as it is.  They don't get used here.

Imagine thinking that it takes increased funding to teach kids to READ at grade level?  If they can’t get American kids up to speed seeing as English is their first language, how are they going to manage it with all the newcomers?

Of course you understand it is nothing to do with funding.....  but until the parents of the kids who are being screwed up realize this, they will usually under perform among their peers.
