There’s no such “accepted medical fact.”  None.  You made that up.  There were numerous studies during and after Covid that pointed to masks being ineffective.  Here’s one.  Took me all of 5 seconds to find it.  The stidy found “little to no” evidence that masking at the population level reduced COVID infections, concluding that there is “uncertainty about the effects of face masks.” That result held when the researchers compared surgical masks with N95 masks, and when they compared surgical masks with nothing.

There are more.  But I’m sure at this point you’ll find fault with the source, or some other nonsense you pull on a regular basis.  How about you do some work for a change and produce a study that shows masks worked.  Shouldn’t be hard to find if it’s accepted medical fact.  The burden of proof should be on you and the other authoritarian bastarrds out there wanting to restrict freedoms and shut down commerce.

No, I am saying there is no proof that masks slow the spread of influenza. They did studies during the Spanish flu and they could not prove or disprove the influence of masks.

First, your premise is a red herring, as I said nothing about medical interventions.

That being said, your post is odd, because after your opening statement, you spend the rest of it defending exactly what you disavow.

But getting to your red herring:  I actually philosophically agree with you... if we didn't have the problem I mentioned -- a society which encourages vs. merely accepts trans.  If we had had this discussion 15 years ago, I'd agree with you.  But in that time, we've built more than 100 for-profit gender clinics.  Do you think such a clinic is in the business of telling a confused child that they aren't trans?  We have political lobbying groups pretending to be medical groups (AMA, APA) which say medical interventions for kids are just fine.  We eagerly give a shy, confused teenage girl testosterone and, shockingly, she feels more confident.  Leftist parents who feel they are winning some sort of virtue signaling olympics by interpreting any sign that's not 100% traditional boy/girl that their kid is trans?

I could go on, but hopefully my position is clear.
