I found her facial expressions to be weird and childish. That is not the type of person I want to be talking to other world leaders.  I also thought it was odd that suddenly she had none of the accents she had been using lately. She did not drop a single "the not like us" last night.

Trumpers got a problem with weird and childish now? 😂

You do not even have to be a trumper( I am not) to find her expressions weird or childish. It does help if you are not partial to either party and can look at that with a open mind to see how weird it looked.

If it makes you feel better I thought trumps assertation that babies could be killed once they are born very weird too.

I am really glad I watched. I think she was definitely nervous at first but relaxed after a while. For sure, I think Trump is better for our economy, but I dislike his conservative stance on abortion and I certainly don't want another conservative Supreme Court Justice appointed.

He was referring to Ralph Northam, the former Governor of Virginia, who said he supported post birth abortion.

Unfortunately, Trump is not eloquent and couldn't get the words out.

Also, abortion is legal at 9 months in New York so he was right about that too.

What is conservative about his stance in abortion? He supports exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother. He just doesn't want late term abortions.

That's a pretty main stream position.

There is missing context from this NY law:

As with everything the Dems do, it never stops with what they say they want. See gay marriage. We went from that to trannies competing in women's sports.

As I said,  NY allows abortion up to 9 months. They stop "at birth." But abortions can be had up until "birth" if the mother and physician agree to it.

As for Northam, he was asked about a delegate who "made her case for lifting bans on third trimester abortions..." which would include abortions "when the mother is dilating and about to give birth."

So, yes, he was describing what would take place in a scenario where the child is deformed and the mother didn't want to let it live, however, he was asked about a delegate who wanted to make partial birth abortion legal.

Trump wasn't as far off the mark as the moderators and Harris wanted to make it seem.

“New York's Reproductive Health Act allows practitioners to perform an abortion on a patient who is 24 weeks or more away from the start of a pregnancy if the fetus is not viable or the abortion is necessary "to protect the patient's life or health."

The law does not define "health" or viability of a fetus. The determination of these factors must be made by a "health care practitioner licensed, certified, or authorized" under state law, "acting within his or her lawful scope of practice.”

This is the context that you are not providing. This law doesn’t seem unreasonable. If doctors are abusing this then make that case. Otherwise leave it to the Doc and patient.

Northam, who is a Pediatric Neurologist, was speaking about a bill which was loosening laws on late term abortions in extreme cases, like the ones in NY’s law. He did not say babies would be killed after birth which is illegal. You can listen to the interview in this article Link

The German Foreign Office fact checks Trump. 😁

Like it or not: Germany’s energy system is fully operational, with more than 50% renewables. And we are shutting down – not building – coal & nuclear plants. Coal will be off the grid by 2038 at the latest. PS: We also don’t eat cats and dogs. #Debate2024

Karl Rove: “There’s no putting lipstick on this pig. Trump was crushed by a woman he previously dismissed as ‘dumb as a rock.’ Which raises the question: What does that make him?”

Kamala Harris won that debate from the moment the two candidates took the stage by using a lawyer move and NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT.

Watch them enter, she walks immediately to Trump's podium, looks him right in the eye and introduces herself with a handshake.

BOSS move!

From that moment onward, Trump NEVER laid eyes on her again in the debate. His body language betrayed the shame he felt from feeling intimidated by Harris for the rest of the debate.

And his avoidance of her gaze fueled the rage that he couldn't contain every time she baited him into blathering about his rallies, his nine-figure inheritance or when he blurted out that, "I have the concept of a plan."

By confronting the bully head on from the very first moment, Kamala Harris deflated the bully.

And Donald Trump never recovered.
