Thoughts On The 2024 QB Class So far ?

Recommended Posts

I think Jayden Daniels will wind up being the best of the bunch if he can protect himself on his runs and maybe bulk up just a tad.  He throws a nice deep ball. I was genuinely surprised when they traded Dotson away, as I felt that might be a good weapon for him. Terry is a nice receiver but they need to get him a true stud and watch out.

(I am also secretly interested to see how Jordan Travis progresses in his injury recovery. Homerism aside, I really like the idea that he can learn behind Rodgers. Guy has some talent)

Just a hunch... I think JaMarr Chase will be available.

I really like Daniels.  They need to fill that team out with some talent.  But his legs give him a start.  And I think he will be more than a runner.

Nix looked great all offseason.  Another reminder that joint practices and preseason success mean little.

Its too bad ATL didnt just go aftet Penix with a bridge vet.  Instead chasing immediate success with an old off an achilles Kirk Cousins.  Cousins was very good in Minny ..was he so great that ATL thought they were a contender if they got him?  Its early.  He will probably now go for 300 and 3 tonight.  But they should have just went young and built themselves I think.

I saw a little of him yesterday and you maybe right on him.

What I saw of Nix, you really couldn't tell much cause the Steelers have a good D. He didn't look much worse than Cousins did against them, was able to run better than Cousins for sure.

Living in (former) Pac-12 country, I've seen a bit of Williams, Nix, Penix, and Daniels (ASU).  Daniels absolutely sucked here, but that's probably because Herm Edwards is the worst talent developer ever.  Williams looked kinda meh when I watched him last season, but I haven't seen enough of the good stuff that has people fawning over him.  Penix doesn't seem to have an NFL arm IMO.  I think Nix might end up the best of that bunch.

Says the guy who was told to check a box in some HR application transaction and then says he had to offboard someone from their job. 😆

Whoever the bears draft becomes a Steeler QB 3 years later, Caleb will look good In a Steeler jersey in 2027.

Only seen Jayden on Red Zone Channel but he looks the most impressive. He will die if he continues to do the exciting stuff.

Bo Nix and Caleb have gotten to see almost entire games of and they looked pretty meh, like run of the mill rookies.

Lol setting the bar so low it's touching the ground.

Seriously. I was just re-reading everything Carolina gave up for him and they still owe next years 2nd.

Bryce Young pick is shaping up to be a franchise killer for a couple years.

And alternatively turned Houston into one of the top teams in the league.

Yep. Smart move. Can’t keep running him out there like this.

the fact they traded away their number one pick and then they finished with the #1 pick overall is hilariously awful
