Biggest all time

These are the biggest tariffs in our history. So yeah I’m figuring it will be the biggest inflation Americans have ever faced (outside of the Confederacy).

When? Ultimately, you can say it for 200 years and it may come true if liberals ever get.back in charge.

You have put dates on it and you have been wrong every time. Now what?

It's just shocking that liberals freak out because the fear mongering left tells them to.

You're such a simpleton.  So THIS level of inflation is what you've been chicken littleting about for the last 8 months?

The inflation is just starting.  If the tariffs don't go away, it will keep getting worse.  It's really easy to understand.  You just have to stop believing Trump when he says the country pays the tariffs.  They don't.

Yes Biden had a great stock market.  He also had inflation and then it came down.  We don't want it to come back.

See high market = good.

High inflation = bad

I give you credit for trying.  It is not easy to take a win this big and try to misrepresent it to be negative.  But look at you....gaslighting like a pro....

when even CNN admits it was good....and when you have CNN and MSDNC admitting it was good, maybe you are just swimming against the tide brother....

If you spend all your time pretending, the real world will pass you by

Why did you say CNN said it was good, then link to an opinion piece in the WSJ?

Probably a direct result of the Canadian boycott in retaliation against Trump's tariffs.

how do you get "probably a direct result" out of that tweet?

Seems the most likely explanation, because the Canadian boycott has been well publicized with liquor stores pulling Kentucky bourbon off of shelves while Trump keeps telling us how great the tariffs have been for the economy.

Simple formula, find a problem somewhere, pretend it correlates and exaggerate it.  I presume any job losses in fast food in California will also be lumped into this?  Maybe not though, if it can be attributed to a Democrat its usually just ignored.

One doesn't have to pretend it correlates.

Spirits Canada Analysis: Removal of U.S. Spirits from Canadian Stores in Retaliation to U.S. Trade Dispute Resulted in Sharp Sales Decline of U.S. Products and Total Spirits Sales

WASHINGTON — The Canadian Provinces’ decisions to pull U.S. spirits from their store shelves in retaliation to the trade dispute with the United States has resulted in a significant sales decline for U.S. spirits products as well as other imported and domestic spirits products, according to a new economic analysis by Spirits Canada.

The analysis shows that since March 5, when Canadian provinces announced they would no longer carry U.S. spirits products on their store shelves, through the end of April, sales of U.S. spirits in Canada fell by more than 66%, and total spirits sales in Canada declined by more than 12%.

“The North American spirits sector is highly interconnected, and the immediate and continued removal of all U.S. spirits products from Canadian shelves is deeply problematic for spirits producers on both sides of the border,” said Cal Bricker, President and CEO of Spirits Canada. “The current disruption demonstrates the critical importance of maintaining open, reciprocal trade relationships that benefit consumers, businesses and government revenues in both nations.”

So, CNN and MSNBC have said these things and to prove it you link to an opinion piece in the WSJ that doesn't reference either of those organizations---and this is your proof that the these are big trade deal wins.

I dont mean to go all Tim Hauk on you here, but I am disinclined to automatically accept the premise based on your source here. I am open to hearing more of course, and then perhaps we can even talk about all those people who lost their jobs in the coal mines that democrats didnt give a sh!t about....but maybe not....eh?

We can discuss tariffs if you choose, but I prefer to stay on point with this attempt to pretend you care about jobs.   Using the loss of jobs in a sector as proof of an "issue" is curious coming from a group of people who cared nothing for costing those coal miners their jobs....or....could it be more true you are just plucking up something to pretend tariffs are the problem?  Using something....anything....to pretend things are really bad?  I mean, I get it, I think job losses are bad, I hope they dont happen....but for you to suddenly care?

I think you dont care, you just are using the misfortune of people.....and I think that is pathetic.

You prefer to deflect to something irrelevant to the discussion topic of this thread: tariffs.

I am unsurprised, though a little dismayed, at how quickly your pretense of caring about jobs has apparently withered away here.

New tariffs went into place last night raising prices for consumers. Trump promised to lower prices on day one instead he has now raised prices. Voters will respond accordingly in 2026
