The Golden Age Of Corruption has begun

What keeps getting glossed over in these conversations is that many of us do not feel as though the DOJ was weaponized against Trump. Maybe we're wrong; but if you start off with that understanding, the rest of your argument falls apart, because we do care. We don't say anything because we don't believe it was wrong.

I get it. Except guys like me believe that they were. And if you believe that the evidence was manufactured to promote a certain narrative, then everything else falls apart for Adams and Trump.

So I think, maybe, that people on the left just look at the evidence without looking at how they got to the evidence.  In my opinion, it's fruit from the poison tree where the right is looking at the poison tree and the left is just looking at the tree.

It's exactly what you're doing.  It's what a lot of people who are strongly biased towards their party do.  Republicans are just as guilty.  It's only a problem when the other party does it.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter.  He's the President.  Get over it and hopefully we all do better with the next election.

Look I don’t have any power to stop him from being President. Politics interest me so I will continue to discuss them when I can including here. But that’s all it is, a discussion. I’m not changing anything that’s happening. (I do try to change things in small ways: giving money to the ACLU, working with a refugee family)

I get tired of seeing people crap on one person while ignoring it with others.  So much of that happens with people who have strong opinions.  It's like everyone has blinders on.

Fine, we both knew we wouldn't agree on this.

But let me ask this: if you believe that Trump was completely railroaded by the Biden DOJ and Democrats during the impeachments, then you should be damn sensitive to not wanting your party stooping to the same unseemly, illegal level.

Yet you appear to be endorsing exactly that. Where does it end?

He's going to make billions off of more contracts and also using the data he has access to not to further his business interests.  It's the long game.

He's not doing this out of the kindness of his heart or to help save a country which he has third allegiance to.  I can assure you that.

Oh, I get it.  You don't like it when people in government make money off of being in government.  Correction... you only have a problem if Republican's do it.  Or at least, it only bothers you if Republican's do it.

Considering Tesla and SpaceX received government contracts and subsidies years before Musk endorsed Trump, no, I don’t think Biden and the Dems were pulling a rope a dope.

Maybe you shouldn’t be telling other people they’re not too bright.

I don’t find this to be a compelling argument. As a kid when I got in trouble I would sometimes point to my older brother and say “he was doing it too!” That never worked. For good reason.

Who cares what you find compelling?

Oh, no, I agree.  Neither side should be engaging in any corrupt, subversive or dishonorable behavior.  100%.  Full stop.

However, I see it that if we only hold our side accountable then the good news is we get rid of the corrupt bastards and only have above the board people.  That would mostly be a win except the other side continues to tolerate and ignore their corrupt bastards gaming the system for their own illicit gains.  So nobody on their side is accountable while everyone on my side is.  I would be happy with the other side not saying a word about the right if they're engaging in it too, but here they are pointing fingers when they really should do the right thing and not look the other way when it benefits them.

So the guy that was the number two at DOJ stepping down to take an assistant DA position in the manhattan Da’s office and was put on the local Trump case doesn’t leave you curious?

I have had them over, they’ve met my kids. We’re all involved, my entire family.
And there’s no room in my house but we helped find them an apartment.

In all seriousness the months I have spent helping them has been the most rewarding experience in my life, outside of raising my children.

He's lying.  He made that story up because he kept getting asked the "why don't you let them come love with you" question.  It's a lie to hide his hypocrisy.

Sean Spicer Hilariously Explains to Glenn Beck Why Trump Can Fire Anyone He Wants to Because of Joe Biden (VIDEO)

by Mike LaChance Feb. 19, 2025 8:40

This story is absolutely hilarious.

We first heard about this back in December, but there were not as many details. Now, Sean Spicer has shared the entire saga with Glenn Beck.

In a nutshell, back in the fall of 2021, Spicer was serving on a couple of different boards. His term was set to end in November, but Biden fired him and some other conservatives in September, seemingly just to be a petty jerk.

Spicer then sued the Biden administration, for the sole purpose of losing and having a court of law affirm that Biden could fire whoever he wanted. It worked. Spicer lost the lawsuit. Then they went to an appeals court, which ALSO said that Biden, as president, had the power to fire anyone.

Fast forward to now.Trump has just fired the entire board of the Kennedy Center and they can’t do a darn thing about it.Why? Because Spicer forced the Biden administration to defend Spicer’s firing, which is now being cited as the legal precedent. It’s an ultimate FAFO.

Some details from The Blaze:

“I was like, ‘You couldn’t wait 60 days just to have it for free?’” Spicer says. “I obviously wasn’t going to get reappointed; Biden had his right to appoint his people, great. So it turns out, he fired everybody, myself from the Naval Academy board, Russ Vought from the Naval Academy board, and then a guy named H.R. McMaster from the West Point board.”

When Spicer refused to resign, Stephen Miller of America First came to him with the idea of suing the Biden administration.

Spicer explains that the plan was to “go to court and make Joe Biden argue that he has the absolute authority to fire anybody, and because we’re not going to win the case, they’ll rule against us.”

When the Biden administration won the suit, the media started calling Spicer out for losing the case.

“And I go, ‘Did I?’” He laughs.

Watch this entire video. This story is comedy gold!

If anyone on the left is angry about Trump firing people, be sure to let Joe Biden know how unhappy you are. He’s your man.

The INCREDIBLE Story of How Biden Gave Trump the “Gift” of Mass Firings

Every government official who is fired by President Trump should blame Joe Biden, former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer tells Glenn. Spicer tells the incredible story of how Biden's "pettiness" led Spicer and Russ Vought to sue him in a case they didn't think they'd win. But they DID - and now, it has set the precedent that allows President Trump to fire anyone in his administration! This has since led to the reformation of the Kennedy Center and will allow Trump to make many of DOGE's recommendations a reality

Donald Trump is celebrating his administration’s move to ignore a law that targeted money laundering.

On Sunday, the Treasury Department announced that it would stop enforcing “any penalties or fines associated with the beneficial ownership information reporting rule under the existing regulatory deadlines, but it will further not enforce any penalties or fines against U.S. citizens or domestic reporting companies or their beneficial owners after the forthcoming rule changes take effect either.”

Judges are always right.  Rarely get overturned. I don’t know why we even have an appeals process or a Supreme Court.

Seems to be a pattern. Will Trump’s supporters ever realize what a corrupt law breaking clown he is?

Nope.  They will assume trump is always right and any judge that opposed him is "activist"

About 7% of all rulings get reversed on appeal. In terms of the Supreme Court, it’s less than 2%.

So no judges aren’t always right. But they’re USUALLY right. And when Trump gets slapped down on over a dozen times in a single month, that’s how you know he’s an unlawful clown. And that’s how we know in this forum that YOU are a clown for continually supporting his moves.

Most rulings aren’t appealed. That stat is garbage. I’m always amazed that highly educated folks like you don’t understand percentages.

Trump Sends Hundreds of Venezuelans to El Salvador in Face of Judge’s Order

President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador announced that his country had taken in more than 200 prisoners whom the U.S. has accused of being part of the Tren de Aragua gang.

Trump defied the court again and there is nothing anyone can do.  Dictator.

There is something that can be done. If it continues then we the people need to vote in large Democratic majorities in the next election, impeach and remove Trump, impeach and remove JD Vance, and install Hakeem Jeffries as President.

This is it, up until now our government had safety rails. They’re gone now. Trump is, without hyperbole, a lawless authoritarian. If he can defy this court order he can defy any court order.

Brown Medicine doctor deported despite federal court order.

A federal court order that would have halted the immediate deportation of a Rhode Island doctor was issued Friday evening while the doctor’s departing plane sat on the tarmac at Boston Logan International Airport, said a family friend and colleague.

But the plane ultimately took off, carrying Dr. Rasha Alawieh out of the country for reasons still unclear to her family, her lawyer and Brown Medicine colleagues such as Dr. Basma Merhi.

“They did not do anything to stop the plane,” said Merhi, who was learning details of the event through information relayed by Alawieh family members. “So, clearly, they wanted to deport her regardless of if there was a judge’s order or not. She didn’t do anything wrong.”
