I was hoping for news about Ukraine but he didn’t even commit to Zelensky other than saying he appreciated the letter. I don’t like the way the Democrats behaved. Pretty classless IMO. I don’t appreciate classless behavior no matter who it’s from. Even if you don’t respect Trump (and I don’t) respect the office, respect the chamber. I know someone will point out that Republicans have been rude in the past. I don’t care. Rudeness is rudeness. Unacceptable. The child with brain cancer was a moving moment and everyone should have cheered. There is irony however in the fact that DOGE cut spending for brain cancer research. For me the best moment in the speech was when Trump welcomed back the guy held hostage in Russia. Trump deserves credit for his release.
