This won't happen. I've owned shares of Eli Lilly since 2008. Their breadwinner has been insulin, & more recently, fatty drugs. They've already lowered the price of insulin substantially.

Eli Lilly has lowered the price of its insulin products in recent years. In March 2023, the company announced a 70% price cut for its older insulin products, like Humalog, and also capped out-of-pocket costs at $35 per month for those with commercial insurance or no insurance. This move was part of a larger effort to make insulin more affordable and accessible for people with diabetes.
