The video gives no indication of how he entered.

Here’s the best angle I’ve seen so far.  Of course this dummy is trying to claim this backs up your opinion, but while he got near the front of the room, he is not moving any more forward when he starts talking and then is pushed by security.  Also, Noem looks right at him then looks back at her paper and keeps talking as if nothing happened.  Not the reaction I’d expect if someone had just “burst into the room.”

What would the UK know about troop morale in LA?

More gaslighting and trying to push a false narrative.

Lemme shed some light on troops:  they are always pawns in a political game.  That's why we have them.  OUR interests are a matter of politics.  Going to war IS a political game.

Padilla was looking for attention.  He sought to get that attention by ignoring all norms and protocols of his profession.  He presented as a potential threat.  He was stopped.  He then claimed the sanctity of his Office by identifying himself verbally.  His actions being wholly inconsistent with his self identification Secret Service and FBI did not take him at his word, after all he was not wearing his identification nor acting Senatorially.  Secret Service and FBI don't take potential risks at their word, its pretty much their job discription to not do so. They secured the unknown person until they identified him.  Then they let him go.  He played the buffoon because he was looking for attention and he did not think things through.  He wanted to usurp the forum of another for his own goals.  He got closed down, appropriately.  His whining and attempts to redefine the incident are pathetic.  He emasculated himself. Those trying to defend his conduct emasculate themselves. Sometimes you just have to take the loss and move on.

I largely agree.  Although I think it's more than likely he anticipated this type thing could well happen.  If you've ever been around Secret Service personnel when they are on the job you should be able to sense they aren't playing around.  How many kooks show up to random events claiming to be whoever or whatever?  I follow politics more than most and I wouldn't have recognized him at a moment's notice.  I think if you or I showed up to an event of a protected individual and interrupted and started walking forward we would be lucky to get away with no worse than being pushed to the ground.  However, I think this largely helps Padilla with the people he wants it to help him with.

To timcrack's credit, his cult leaders tell him to respond like that. He doesn't have much choice in what he says.

I have been around Secret Service both when they are actively protecting their principle and there advance teams preparing to protect their principle.  I have been involved in coordinating local law enfocement to cooperate with them, several times.

Liberals will go to any lengths it takes to make themselves look like victims.

None of them are leaders. Only victims of their own insecurities and weaknesses. They dream of being leaders but it's not in their DNA.

What gives the politician the privilege to go in under cover and cause an uproar and walk away without repercussions?

Why should that guy be granted the right to do this? Are politicians above the people they claim to serve?

I don't know why liberals are fighting for this guy.

Sen. Patty Murray on the Padilla incident:

"I have been here for more than 32 years. I have come to this floor often to speak out, to be angry, to be a voice for my people. I have never come this close to having tears in my eyes … We are a democracy, but we can lose that democracy."

I also want to just point out that the Secret Service doesn't have a hockey style line shift when the party in the White House changes.  The same folks who pushed Padilla out were almost assuredly securing events for the Biden Administration.  It's not like they are Trump loyalists or trained differently than they were under a Democratic regime.

He’s a very brave man. When it comes to illegals.  The rest of you chumps that have to drive through homeless encampments and don’t have any water in your reservoir? Meh. He’s not going to get too worked up about that.  Not for you.

Yes, but that doesn't give anyone the right to intentionally run them down without any legal consequences just because they don't want to miss their 7PM dinner reservation.

That clearly isn't the criteria.  It specifically says it's when safety is compromised.

"He is a fūcking senator"

That's one of the left's many problems.  Who cares if he's a senator?  So he won a popularity contest?  Now he deserves special treatment and we must treat him with special respect?

Why is it so hard for lefties to just treat everyone the same?  Senator, janitor, teacher, Uber driver, CEO, police... These people should all be treated equally and with respect unless they give a reason not to.  And if they're here illegally, they should be deported.

No one here is in favor of or supports the violence connected with these protests. No one. But we keep hearing that same false narrative being repeated again and again.

Again.  If they are using lefty protests as cover for violence, the protests need to be looked at.  You seem unwilling to admit the riots and protests are linked in any way.  Therefore, it is hard to believe you are not just covering your âss with your few statements condemning riots among the thousands supporting the thing they're using as cover.

Your protest shouldn't be used to mask violence.

Newsom, having won in the court, is giving a terrific press conference right now just tearing Trump to shreds. It will likely by overshadowed by Israel attacking Iran, but it’s great anyhow.

I don't know what win he got, but there are wins all around I guess.  Trump forced local government to do their jobs and keep the protests as peaceful as possible by essentially trying to do it for them.

Only liberals would come out and call a rioting violent city a win for a governor of that city. And that it's a great thing. This shlt never ceases to amaze.

Longer video of Noem’s speech.

At 5:17 she says “We are staying here to liberate this city from the socialist and burdensome leadership that this governor and this mayor has placed on this country.”

After that is when Padilla interrupts.  Don’t hear any noises or see any reaction from Noem or the officer standing next to her due to someone “barging in” prior to that, he was most likely already in there.

@Strike wrong again.
