Even if he did know- and really that is not the crux of my argument- there is no need to try and strongarm and make this "US and Israel against Iran." Let the two of them figure out. We work with Iran to do  whatever deal Trump thinks he can do that was better than what we had and Israel would not step out against us.

He is handling this very wrong right now. But he pulled us out of an Iran deal because he "could do better." We've got nothing yet and now he is basically saying "Well Israel will keep coming," which tacitly is supporting Israel in this and ignores the fact that Iran will probably just move the next leaders right into place.

The Trump administration has publicly distanced itself from Israel’s strikes, . Rubio emphasized these were unilateral Israeli operations with no direct U.S. military involvement  .

Officials have made it clear that the U.S. will not participate in offensive operations against Iran, including bombing or coordinated kinetic actions .

They are doing the exact thing we all want and its OK to accept this, even if you hate the man you can like the decisions you wantd.

We'll see.  I put the odds at 50/50 that Iran turns out to be similar to Iraq when we went to "war" with them and Saddam.  Turned out their military was a joke.  And Israel purposely went after a bunch of their military infrastructure last night to minimize their ability to respond.  I mean, they sent 100 drones to try to retaliate.  Maybe they have more than that at their disposal.  Maybe they don't.......

There is a way around all of this. Iran can accept the thorium reactor offer. If they are NOT trying to build a bomb and really want it for energy that is the way for them to save face. Realistically they want to become a nuclear power so they can be the ones to wipe Israel off the map.
