Mamdami’s main message: everything’s too expensive and it’s Trumps fault.

Pay attention Democrats. This is the message that will defeat Republicans in 2026 and 2028.

Just don’t leave out that he wants to do away with all misdemeanors. Doh!

That’s not why he’s going to win. He’s going to win because things are too expensive and it’s Trump’s fault. Pay attention Democrats.

Message only works with his base.  Most real Americans have seen the Trump miracle in action.

I dunno, Timmy, I am not sure eliminating the enforcement of all misdemeanor crimes is going to win him that many votes. 😬

I don’t think he can do that on his own.

The mayor in NYC appoints the police commissioner. Ipso facto, the mayor controls how law will be enforced in the city. Stay in your lane.

Probaby not but if that becomes the new talking point trumpeted on the right, his poll numbers might take a substantial hit.

Typical

“Breaking: Zohran Mamdani, NYC’s anti-billionaire mayoral hopeful, just took a $250K check from hedge fund heiress Elizabeth Simons for his super PAC!  Says billionaires shouldn’t exist, yet cashes their checks to fight for the working class. Hypocrisy much?”

Yeah, this is nothing new with Socialists/Marxists/Communists.  They will make sure YOU sacrifice to the State, not them.  I've been saying this for years.  Same thing with Bernie, Warren, AOC - they're all for the "little guy" until they get the power, then it's all about them.  They'll ensure you give up yours, but they ain't giving up sh#t.

All one has to do is just review the last 200 years of history on those Socialists/Marxists/Communists to see the pattern.  From Castro, Stalin, Pol Pot, Chavez, North Korea, China and a whole host of people who pushed that nonsense.

The most brutal regimes in all of human history have been run by those who thought their Utopia was the most moral.

It's why you'll never hear a quantitative or numerical answer of the "How much is enough?" when you ask those who complain about what the rich should be paying to support these programs.  The numbers never add up.  If they give you numbers and what levels to apply it to, they never make up for the social program side of it.  They can only take more and more and unless they are checked, inflation will spiral to insane levels.  Never mind that those who would be saddled with the rates needed to pay for this stuff will leave en masse.  On a macro level inflating constantly is the only way to keep it going.

He wrote a book!!!  That's what all the socialists say when it's suddenly discovered they are, in fact, multi-millionaires like the people they rail against.  Of course they aren't giving that up, but you'll give up yours.

First, it was the people that made hundreds of thousands of dollars, and when the socialist started making that much then it was the millionaires. When they started making millions then they started complaining about the multi-millionaires. When they themselves became the multi-millionaire, then it became about the billionaires.

Socialists always go after those who are making more than them.

She does probably weigh more than him, and obviously is more athletic.

I’d like to see a video of Trump benching, that would be interesting.

What about the government owning part of Intel, taking profit from Nvidia sales, and expanding this behavior?

Both these actions, along with the tariffs, are pure socialism. Yet none of the people criticizing Mamdami have anything to say about it.

I'm very much against owning part of Intel.  One, the part that the government is nominally interested in, the foundry business, has been an abject failure at Intel for decades.  I'll spare the technical details, some of which I'm sure they've addressed since the years I worked directly with them.  Basically, I think it is a bad investment.

Two, this creates conflicts of interest with respect to other American semiconductor companies, two of which my close family members work for.

Three, I oppose bailouts in general, and this is more than a bailout.

I'm woefully ignorant on the nVidia stuff, I need to read up on that.

My understanding on intel is that Trump told the CEO he had to quit.  The CEO came to the White House and shook him and down and told him he could stay if he gave him 10% of the company and he agreed.  I don't think it's an investment, it's extortion.

Nvidia, trump told them they weren't allowed to sell chips to China unless they gave him 15% of the revenue.

This is not capitalism.  It's fascism.
