This was interesting.  The one dude admits he’s a fascist, and multiple people said Hasan should be deported despite being an American citizen.   Apparently some of these guys already had tens of thousands of followers on x and say even worse stuff there.

To be fair I thought some of Hasan’s arguments were dumb, like saying Trump was “pro-crime” just because he pardoned J6ers.  

But some of these people were insane.  One dude said no one (even those born here or with parents born here) should be allowed to be a citizen until they pass a written test, and IIRC that guy was one of the more normal ones.

We have our own problems having to do with getting rid of all illegals. The ones biden let flow in non stop for 4 years. And getting rid of illegals here has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do if a person is are illegal or not. 

Now if we want to move on to cleaning up our culture in other ways too, I'm all for it.

I think his exact words were “I don’t like calling a person illegal,” IMO that is more about the word choice and not saying he thinks everyone should get asylum

Thanks for sharing that. It nicely encapsulated the far right as it stands in this country now. Their basic belief system is based on strawmen, emotions and grievance. When faced with reality, they fold like a cheap card table.

None of the resident MAGAmooks will bother to watch a moment of it.

Righties on social media were salivating over the guy from this clip because he knew the author’s name of some study Hasan referenced, but then he rambled on only to eventually admit that a 10% increase in immigration only resulted in a 0.5% decrease in wages overall.   I’m not sure why Hasan would dispute them bringing down wages overall, but he correctly pointed out other reasons that immigrants contribute to the economy.
