It isn't 8AM yet here.  Boxers and a robe.  😴

However, it is my birfday weekend (turn 58 tomorrow, look at me!).  We're kinda out of food at the moment so I'll get takeout for lunch, either a shrimp burrito or sushi.  Tonight we are going to some sort of broadway spoof show at the Phoenix Theatre; I'll be wearing a Robert Graham button down (my favorite shirts) and probably Tommy Bahama navy chinos.  Heading to dinner before at a fun looking tapas place:

As a PSA, yesterday was National Tequila Day.  🍹

Tomorrow, my kids are coming over for lunch and wifey is making me eggs benedict.  After we'll lose the kids, have secks, and cook up whatever nice cut of meat we buy later today at our new Wild Fork:

Have a great weekend geeks!

We have a wildfork literally down the block for a little more than a year now and we love it. Gotta say I like to try things I never had before but the Ostrich was a huge fail. Might not of cooked it right but it was terrible. Great summer specials though.
Enjoy ‘Skids.

Thanks.  It just opened here a few months ago.  First thing we tried was some Iberico pork from Spain, man it was delicious!  Next we tried a hanger steak (aka the "butcher's cut") which I had never had; also awesome.

I'm looking forward to picking the next treat.

At the moment I'm wearing a banana hammock and nothing else. Lunch is for poossies.

Later I will grab cash and commence my weekend by finding some lovely ladies, buy some goods from an ugly dude named Horatio, and proceed to hoover some of the goods off of the asses, muffs, and belly buttons of my lovely companions. Then we'll all engage in some lively cardio, smoke some of the other goods, and wash it down with glasses of single malt.

Then I'll reload and do it all again.

I made honey roasted turkey sannies with apple juice to wash it down. The $10.99 a bottle organic apple juice is from Whole Foods.

Today's wardrobe consist of an Adidas moisture wicking tee, tucked into my Orvis wicking and stretching pants (North of $100). Footwear is Salomon X Ultras. They have the string tightening dealie, so no shoe laces.

Did you have moisture wicking undies at the base?

Actually, yes. Smartwool 35 bucks, with Smartwool Orvis socks, about 40 bucks.

I just visited a doctor's office, so I dressed up.

Pricey pork

It is.  It's more of a celebration thing I'd say.  But it melted in your mouth.

I just got wagyu ribeye for my birthday. $49/pound, also not an everyday thing.

The A5 wagyu was like $120/lb, I'm not worth that... also it has so much fat that it almost doesn't look like beef.

I’m in Florida now and see there is a wild fork 30 miles from me. The beef here is horrible compared to what he had in MA

My guess is that they started in Florida, as that's where most of the stores seem to be.

I think this is the first store in the Phoenix metro.  I live in a nice area but not uber rich like North Scottsdale or Paradise Valley, which is where these kinds of things tend to go first.  We usually don't get such nice things, at least right away, so I hope it succeeds.

Lol Deer and my local grocery store gets it's from a New Zealand slaughter farm. Probably the healthiest red meat there is. Leaner than turkey meat and better for ya.
