Bathroom reading material- old school

Before there were cell phones and e-readers we all had reading material in the can. I had The Sporting News weekly and that months Playboy always available for me or my guests in the bathroom- you ?

There were three editions of the Rolling Stone Album guide. I got the one from the early 1990s and the one from the early 2000s.

I haven't always agreed with the reviews, but there is some great stuff in there. To this day, I will flip through the pages and find a band I'd never listened to, or I read what it has to say about a band that I haven't really listened to that much and want to burn through their catalogue, like I'm doing now with The Grateful Dead.

I never understood it growing up.Why would you go to make a deuce, sit there in your own anal vapors to read and relax? I was always in and in a minute.

 

 Now when I got my first apartment, I a few swanks on the right and Good Housekeeping on the left.
