AJ Brown average 16.7 fpg last year... he averages 17.0 in 2023.  The drop off is rather negligible, so yeah, Barkley didn't really have a negative impact on Brown.

No he avg 17 in 2022, in 2023 13.

AJ Brown?

In 2022, he had 88 receptions, 1496 yards, and 11 TD's... that's 303.6 fp or 17.86 ppg.

In 2023, he had 106 receptions, 1456 yards, and 7 TD's... that's 293.6 fpg or 17.27 ppg (he did have 2 fumbles that I'm not accounting for here).

In 2024, he had 67 receptions, 1079 yards, and 7 TD's.... that's 216.9 fpg or 16.69 ppg

When did he average 13?

The impact of Barkley was approximately -0.58 fpg.  If you count the fumbles lost, the difference is -0.35 fpg.

I knew the PPG averages would be brought up. While Brown averaged about the same PPG he went from wr 7 in PPG in 2023 to wr 13 in 2024 in PPG.

He finished outside the top 12 largely bc the position overall increased but also bc eagles took foot off the gas.

The point about the raiders not being good enough to is fair.

But I do wonder if the TE position as a whole Hockenson without addy, Warren ect gets some more top producers and Bowers against his peers isn’t as much a difference in 2025 as it was in 2024.

who knows.  Bowers is great.

I don’t see how Barkley capped AJ Brown, in 13 games last season he had the same amount of tds scored but played in four less games. And his per rec avg was 16, if he played in seventeen games he would produce more ff points then he dud in 23, and he avg more points per game last yr than he did the season without Barkley.

I wasn’t speaking about Browns ff avg, I said his rec avg was 16, and in 2023 it was 13.  And that if Brown has played a full season, he would recorded more ff points last season with Barkley than 2023 without Barkley.  Thanks.

Raiders don’t have the key, that Barkley and AJ Brown have, Hurts.  Geno isn’t close.
