Not even historic trees are safe from President Donald Trump’s path of destruction at the White House.

Satellite imagery shows that six trees, including southern magnolias commemorating presidents Warren G. Harding and Franklin D. Roosevelt, were axed or removed from the White House grounds this week as Trump abruptly demolished the East Wing.

😆 Litards gonna libtard.

https://www.outkick.com/sports/cnn-blames-right-wing-backlash-cracker-barrel-logo-flip-flop-reality-says-otherwise

CNN is always going to CNN

There's a lot that can be said about CNN these days, but here's one thing that can't be denied: the network usually delivers what you expect.

By this I mean the takes that seem to ignore reality or could just be outright falsehoods, and this was the case with how CNN covered the news that Cracker Barrel is dumping its wildly unpopular new logo in favor of the original logo with the "old-timer" that everyone liked.

How did CNN go about reporting this news?

By saying that the change came "after right-wing backlash."

Do those guys live in a windowless room with no access to outside communication? Do they live lives outside of the newsroom with real people? Because that's not what happened at all.

Sure, I think you'd find near universal condemnation of the change from conservatives, but do you know who else hated it? Democrats.

How do I know this?

Because they said so.

This is one of those times you see just how jaw-droppingly bad CNN can be. You've got kind of a who-cares fluff story considering wars are going on around the globe, and yet they muffed this one like a rookie punt returner in the rain.

The fact that the move was reviled by people across the political spectrum was one of the biggest talking points about it. Everyone was joking that the fact that liberals and conservatives all agreed that the change was terrible was the ultimate sign that the company had really messed up.

Anyone who understood why people liked Cracker Barrel hated that logo. No one wants "fresh and cutting edge" from Cracker Barrel. You go there for southern food, gunky souvenirs, and to pee when you're on a road trip.

But CNN, for whatever reason, can't help itself when it comes to taking shots at conservatives, even when it effectively makes its story factually inaccurate.

It wasn't "Right-wing backlash," it was "universal backlash."

CNN continues to exhibit TDS at its finest.

Would be a tough choice between bowling and going to a brunch. Bowling sucks pretty hard but brunch can be pretty awful as well. I’d have to think about this.

Truman built the first bowling alley in the white house and Nixon built a second, there's 2 bowling alleys in the white house and you're complaining about a ballroom.

The Truman bowling alley is not in the White House.

No one cares. Simply put, Trump isn't ruining history, he's making a change that will be tastefully done and very much used by president's and staff for decades to come.

I heard someone say that the apoplexy from the Left about the ballroom, and you can see it in this thread, is that the White House will have a lasting imprint/memory of Trump.  Decades from now, people will refer to the Trump ballroom, and Lefties will scream at the sky.

Bump for our resident lefties.  If the WP can endorse this addition I'd like to think you could get past your TDS to do so as well.

 look up.

Bezos owns the Washington post and donated to the ballroom.  Of course they approve.

He tore down history without approval or oversight.  The new ballroom will dwarf the white house, it will be an eyesore, it's being funded by elites and for elites, an austentatious symbol of corruption.  It's the people's house, not Trump's house

Still hurting huh, libtard?

Remember 2020 when all your heroes were raging through the US tearing down historical monuments while killing people, and looting and burning down businesses?

Did they get approval or oversight?

You kiss the asses of the dumbest people on the planet.

So the answer is no, 10 times banned alias  can't get past his TDS.  Got it.

I think with approval from Congress the executive branch can make any change to any public building, including the Eisenhower executive building.

Yes, in fact Patel announced he reopened the investigation into the locker more than a month ago. I support that. Still no report.

So you're saying that everyone should approve of the destruction of the East Wing and construction of a ballroom that is bigger than the white house, and if you don't, it means you're making up something about Trump that isn't true?  I assume that is what TDS is.  Can you explain TDS to me and how it pertains to being opposed to this ballroom?

I don't care about the ballroom.

We knew he would do something like this and it isn't worth getting upset over. To a large part of the country they will overly care. To a large part of the country nothing Trump does is ever wrong so they will love it.

I'm in the part of the country that just says "Do something important to help people."
