It’s odd but it’s how they do it. If anything probably just messes up people.

Do you think people can vote twice or something?

not really, but what it does is that lets say there is an independent who isnt educated on names, that is like I am just going to vote for the not dem and the not R

then those guys can still get "party" votes

If you had a vote would you vote for Sliwa? Or do as Trump dictates and vote for Cuomo?

I would have watched the debate, looked at past policy and made my own decision, like I do with every time I vote

why is it that Trump "dictates you vote for Cuomo" but its not Obama "dictates you vote for Muslim boy"

He seemed to close a little better down the stretch. Sherrill had some bad performances and moments. Plus there are a lot of out of state political influencers who are pouring money into that race and time and trying to sway it.

I think you should have to live in a state to donate to an in state election, and live in a jurisdiction to donate to a mayor race

Probably, but that ship has long past sailed.

In this hypothetical they’d just as likely vote for Cuomo then. He’s in the “Fight and Deliver” party or something like this.

Good response, seriously. - That’s a fair point, but then I never voted for Obama.

I can't wait to walk to the end of my street tonight and clean up all the garbage political signs.  Tomorrow is trash day.

I did understand the point he was making. But the accusation is dumb and pretty offensive regardless.

I was pretty bitter after last year’s election. I wrote some things about the media I shouldn’t have. Deep down I don’t believe the mainstream media is biased. But they made some mistakes for sure and I behaved like it was deliberate. I acted like a petulant child. In short I behaved like a conservative. Conservatives are the ones who always blame the media when real life doesn’t go the way they want. I succumbed to that weakness for a short time; I will try not to do so again.

your reaction to the media after last years election was about the only post (posts) you've ever made that made me have any respect for you. I was pleasantly surprised that someone who is pretty much only on this board to pretend they know politics would have the balls to actually admit the liberal media had been feeding them a steaming pile of BS. Starting way back with how competent Biden was.

sounds like it was actually just a temporary lapse of insanity on your part and you are back to said insanity.

I did something I’ve never done before and voted for every Dem on the ballot. Fock these crooks and religious weirdos.

I voted for every Dem except local township committee.  I'm still a registered republican.

This doesn’t seem prudent. Voting against every incumbent might be the play

Most of the local incumbents are Dems who would be replaced with even worse Reps if the GOP had the chance.

So here’s what I think is going to happen Tuesday night. (Keep in mind that my political predictions are right about 80% of the time. My sports predictions not so much.)

1. Prop. 50 in California, which will give the state about 5 more Democratic leaning Congressional districts, will win easily, perhaps over 60%.

2. The Democratic nominee for governor in Virginia will win easily. She will carry the Democratic candidate for attorney general over the top though that will be closer.

3. The Democratic nominee for governor in New Jersey will win by an easier margin than is currently projected- perhaps 5-8%. Just as important in terms of long term projections, a significant number of Latino voters in New Jersey who abandoned the Democratic Party in 2024 for Donald Trump will return to the fold.

4. Mamdani will win by the largest margin of all. 70% or higher is possible.

In other words, Democratic victories everywhere. This is not however any kind of sign that the Democratic Party is healthy or popular- it’s not. The public by and large can’t stand the Democratic Party and truthfully they have good reasons. That’s not going away. But Tuesday night, and I believe a year from now as well, Democrats are going to win big because the public is rejecting Donald Trump.

LOL, way to go out on a limb.  CA, VA, New Jersey, and NY have been democratic strongholds for decades.  LOL

Thank God I won’t have to watch so many political ads now. I can’t forgive John Roberts for ruling that we can have unlimited money in politics and unlimited annoying commercials.

Not bigoted take that is.

We have a whole catalogue of chaos and horror caused by Muslims everywhere in the world they inhabit. They don’t belong anywhere in power in the USA

What a stupid flex. My carriers were hard workers, worked everyday through the scary pandemic without fear while the majority of the population stayed home.People wiped down groceries and package deliveries with Lysol etc and these people worked 60 hours a week. You have to be the biggest lowlife on this board , that’s saying something with Lil squissy here. Oh boy you got me , what a zinger. I’ll take comfort with my early retirement, pension and a special social security supplement paid by Uncle Sam until I reach 62.

Nice.

I think a Ciccarelli win was the one the R's REALLY wanted.  He was the epitome of a MAGA Jersey jamoke.  I think there was a blowhard here who was touting him.

FOX on TILT.  I guess when you live in the echo chamber, getting hit in the face with reality is a bit upsetting.

Dude, you are 65 if you are a day. On the FFL you talked about going to shows at CBGB's in the mid-70's. Let's be charitable and say it was 1977 and even be more charitable and say you were 17 at the time. That makes you born in 1960 and 65 now, Bucco!

As I drove up and down the state last weekend the shitarelli signs were everywhere.  I admit I was nervous.  If he won those mooks would have been insufferable.  Maybe now I'll see less trump flags around.

WTF are you talking about. I’ve never been to CBGBs in my life. I was born in 65 and graduated in 83. You want my colleges attended and where I graduated from? You’re losing it GB
