Walz admits roll in Somalian fraud: “I am accountable for this".

Are you thinking Walz is more incompetent than corrupt?  It has to be one of the two.

More like a victim of he and his party's deranged priorities. #1 priority: make sure nobody can call us racists!

Probably other good reasons that we don’t even know about. One day you’ll see and realize what a fool you’ve always been.

Oh man are you in for a surprise. It's going to be enjoyable watching the flip. Don't forget who gave you a heads up before hand.

I Walz is corrupt he should be charged and held accountable.

If he's incompetent, then he won't get re-elected.

Follow the process.

He’s not running. Way to pay attention

If Walz REALLY wants to take accountability he would resign.  Otherwise it's just lip service.  Why would ANYONE trust him to "fix" the problem he IS being held accountable for?

As far as why he was the VP candidate it was because he was the only Dem dumber than Kamalatoe they could find.

Walz: "I am responsible for billions of stolen tax payer money."

Liberals: "Hey I like this guy. He should get re elected."

He said he's accountable, not responsible.

No, he didn't, as the OP is suggesting with that misleading thread title, lol. 😂

He didn't say that he consciously took part in it. He is not admitting culpability in this fraud.

He is saying, to quote Harry Truman, that "The Buck Stops Here" and taking responsibility for lack of oversight rather than do a Donald Trump and blame someone else for what happened on his watch.

A Governor typically operates like a CEO.  He had plenty of department heads that should have been all over this.  At the very least he made poor judgment in his hires in Human Services, Budget and Internal Audit.  It’s inexcusable they didn’t stop this early.

Max Overdose posted something misleading instead of flat-out false? As a penance for this failure he needs to post 10 crazy videos of Biden.

He acknowledged that he is accountable, which as governor is indeed the case.  I do think it's more due to being incompetent (and naive) rather than corrupt.

As for the X story...here are links to local news outlets about it.  Unfortunately not surprising:

Audit finds state workers mismanaging money and fabricating documents to cover their tracks

Legislative auditor: Minnesota DHS employees backdated, created documentation in behavioral health grant program

Here's the best part:

One outrageous finding: the auditors approached a grantee who was paid $ 672,000 for one month of work without any information on what they did. And the audit says the grant manager who paid it then left DHS a few days later and became a paid consultant for that company.

It is not incompetence. What a random kid uncovered in a day, Tim Walz was unaware of for years? Billions of dollars going to scams? Come on.

I think he's been aware but the response has been extremely weak and I do think there's a good amount of "#1 priority: make sure nobody can call us racists!".

Apologies for my nuanced opinion...y'all can go back to your team sport political discussion.

And yet you think Trump’s bitcoin partner didn’t know the company he was in charge of was doing business with Al Qaida and kiddie pornographers. 🤦‍♂️

Walz derived a benefit from letting all this happen. It’s corruption.

He may have. Idk for sure. The point of crypto is supposed to be permissionless. So that no one can tell me I can't transact because of whatever rules they make up. That means everyone, even the bad guys, get to use the system.

It's complicated...all a grand conspiracy to hide my true identity and not just some guy who reads the fftoday forum occasionally and happens to be from Minnesota.

You're really on to something here...I will admit I'm accountable for it.

There are actually laws that require reporting suspicious transactions so that bitcoin outfits don’t end up laundering money for terrorist organizations and child pornographers. That’s what CZ went to jail for. HTH.

Your reading comprehension is very poor. Maybe you should re-read my posts in the MN thread.

Nicky lied; the “closed” daycare centers weren’t actually closed.

I specifically acknowledged the fraud that was already prosecuted (Feeding our Future) and pointed out many other cases involving billions in fraud.

You bring this up in every thread.  Why not just start a thread about it (or bump one if it already exists)?
