Which is why he was convic.....never mind......

Cut a deal for an obstruction of justice conviction and testified against his friends in a double murder case then paid at least a $1 million to prevent a civil suit. Sounds like an innocent man. What a good christian boy.

That is false, he never cut a deal, the prosecutor simply acknowledged that there was no evidence to suggest he was guilty, and refused to prosecute, so he did what any prosecutor does, sought out one to testify against the ones they knew did it. The prosecutors already knew that two people present with Lewis that night bought the knives used, and had Lewis testify to that fact.

Attorney Steve Sadow stated, “People think Ray got off because he paid people off or because he was Ray Lewis, and that is not the case. There was no doubt that he would have been found not guilty if he had gone to trial. The only question was how long it would take for the jury to find him not guilty.”

And then attorney Bruce Harvey also noted "“Anyone who knows anything about this case knows he should never have been charged in this case,” Harvey says. “It is something that should have been put to bed a decade ago. The charges were bogus.”

It's a shame that people continue to pretend that any other than a sham was committed, but people don't like him personally, so they eagerly use this impropriety as a means to justify their personal dislike, ignoring the evidence and lack of a trial, pretending he somehow swayed the law.

It's really become pointless, but I suppose it will persist so long as people ignore facts and let their emotions dictate their logic.

So he paid the $1 million to the daughter of one of the guys killed simply because he felt bad?

The defense attorney’s would never ever distort the truth it has to be people don't like Ray Ray.

... and he pled guilty to obstruction of justice because he wanted to come clean.

BTW - it looks like Hernandez will be hoping that he only gets misdemeanor obstruction. :o

Well, alrighty then.

His lawyers say he didn't do it. Good enough for me.

http://www.atlantadailyworld.com/201302033556/Viewpoints/how-ray-lewis-got-away-with-murder

"Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard refused to say how the plea agreement was brokered but said his office made the right decision to prosecute Lewis," the article detailed.

"'A trial is an instrument to reach the truth, and I think that in many respects it has been shielded,' Howard said. 'We are continuing to try to bring the truth forward."

More importantly, will Aaron have the "Hey, I helped cover up a murder" dance when he is introduced at a game next year (assuming he didn't throw out his bloody suit and gets convicted) :lock: ?

RLLD is a good guy he just let his man love for Ray cloud his judgement like you did in the Tiger focking every ho in Holiday scandal.

Here you go:

Per CNN

Police are back at the home of New England Patriot's tight end Aaron Hernandez today with another warrant based on evidence that "he destroyed his home security system,'' an investigator close to the case told ABC News.

The investigator, and other law enforcement sources, confirmed that the security system—which included video surveillance—was smashed intentionally.

And a cell phone used by Hernandez was handed over to investigators "in pieces'' by his attorneys, the sources said.

Just heard that on the radio. Pretty obvious he's guilty; they just need to figure out of what.

Pretty obvious it was self defense

Accident. The victim slipped and fell on the knife several times or the gun went off while Aaron was cleaning it.

I hope Aaron at least makes the police chase as interesting as OJ did. Might make me watch Game 7 of the NBA Finals for the nostalgia.

Hernandez's white SUV chase wouldn't get the picture in picture treatment. He isn't the star OJ was, he didnt kill a blonde chick, plus we've upped the anty too much in the last 20 years for this to overshadow a Lebron game 7.

Now if he gets himself into a shoot out with police that results in a standoff, we've got something.

Let's not rush to judgement just yet, this should play out and let the facts decide the case.

Had a cleaning company come to his house the next morning. Shatter the hard drive on the security system, shattered his cell phone.... These are the actions of an innocent man!

He was gonna have a cleaning crew come over anyway, and he was simply tired of his security system and cell phone. They were outdated technology

This starting to look not very good for Hernandez. Sort of a weird story with the February thing nobody heard about where he shot some dudes eye out. Then the smashed phone and security stuff and cleaning crew. Very odd.

Who knows what happened but circumstantial evidence is pointing to that Hernandez at least knows something. Maybe he did it, maybe he knows who did it, or maybe he's covering for somebody, but it is looking really odd.

Surveillance video from the neighborhood puts Hernandez with the victim around 2 or 3 a.m. that morning. At this point I'm actually going to be mildly surprised if Hernandez didn't do the murder himself, didn't order the murder, or wasn't an accomplice to the murder.

I don't want to jump to conclusions....but yeah, Hernandez and the victim clearly had a drunken falling out and Hernandez executed the guy. The other 2 dudes are just cronies. It's obvious.

Lovers quarrel?

Seems likely. Probably too soon for the news organizations to report it, but there is no reason the rest of us can't acknowledge the likelihood.

My totally unfounded guess: At some point Aaron Hernandez decided that it would be easier, and profitable, to not just smoke tons of weed, but to sell it. The deceased is someone who stole money and/or drugs from The Hernandez Group. A Hern is a huge Game of Thrones fan, and took Ned Stark's quote to heart....

The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword.

Hernandez will spend the vast majority of the rest of his life in prison.

None. Danny Amendola will catch 235 passes for 3500 yards and 30 TDs this year. Bank it.
