Heh. I think it's going to take quite awhile to realistically unravel what happened there...but part of it was that Dan Carpenter had to leave the field for one play - leaving Buffalo without their kicker for a planned field goal. Trust me, there was tons more.

Bills had to spike the ball just to get Carpenter back kn field. Ref stood over the ball until 5 secs left on play clock, so unsurprisingly they kicked 49yd FG but ended up with delay of game penalty. Carpenter then missed 54 yarder. Bullsh1t.

Bills would have been down by 3 and been able to attempt a FG to tie had the first half not ended with:
1. "Running into" the kicker penalty
2. Make the kicker leave the field
3. The refs take too long to get the kicking ball, don't reset the game clock and give delay of game penalty

Another 15 yard penalty on Robert Woods for pointing first down after the defender was swiping at him after the whistle.

Man, I hate that kind of comment. It takes the responsibility off the horrible jobs refs do week in and week out. You should have to overcome your opponent, not the refs.
