Filthy Fernadez 2,696 Posted October 12, 2014 I pulled Asiata right before kickoff. Maybe that's why his groin hurtz.......
We Tigers 71 Posted October 12, 2014 Damn you Fat Asiata! I was so close to swapping in Beckham. This is gonna hurt.

devius 4 Posted October 12, 2014 Is this a sign they are going to take a look at McKinnon as a ADP replacement? Sure seems like it's a good time for it.
tigeru 65 Posted October 12, 2014 You can take the D out of AP. He ain been worthy of that.
We Tigers 71 Posted October 12, 2014 Hopefully Detroit kills them and Asiata becomes the lord of garbage time. Edit: Asiata not pulling in a checkdown and it getting intercepted probably means that's not happeing.
Flgatorguy87 160 Posted October 12, 2014 I'm sure that this is a plan to then let Asiata return to triumphantly save the team as he is far and away the superior runner *and blocker*.
stonewall 647 Posted October 12, 2014 The Asian is gonna need a cheap TD to save the day.

SaintsInDome2006 128 Posted October 21, 2014 What do the McKinnon owners think of the upcoming matchup vs TB? Seems pretty good to me, if so who are you starting him over? Basically he needs TDs now if Bridgewater can get his act straight he will get them.
Sho Nuff 719 Posted October 21, 2014 I really want to start him...more upside than Lacy this week (but a lower floor IMO). Have nice matchups though with Lacy and Joique Bell and really hard to sit Leveon. PPR league I may be starting him after Fred Jackson's injury to go alongside Forsett and Oliver as my all WW pickup RB crew (started the year with Ball, P. Thomas, Rice, and Moreno...so not as if I had a lineup of stud backs)
PackYourNut 47 Posted October 21, 2014 He's a solid #2 for the next 4 games... TB, WAS, CHI, GB If he breaks a long TD, he will put up RB1 numbers. It's coming sometime in the next 4 games. Book it!
HOKIEZ 34 Posted October 21, 2014 Sho nuff...if starks is gimpy this week that should boost eddies value
tanatastic 2,061 Posted October 21, 2014 I just traded for him. JHill, Bennett and Sanu for Mckinnon, wayne and Cameron. Fred Jax was my starter so I needed someone to fill in this week. Also putting a claim in for Mason.

thePRO 78 Posted October 22, 2014 Had RB trouble all year and now I have Lacy, Vereen, McKinnon, and Ivory. I'm thinking McKinnon will finally really break out against Tampa and get that big TD. Looking at starting Lacy and McKinnon, but I'm now tempted to start Vereen o.0 Guys?

Man, the thing with rolling with Vereen AFTER a huge week is Belichick doesn't usually let a back get too high on themselves. Dicey call. I'm rolling with McKinnon and Ellington with Hillman and Cadet riding shotgun on the bench. I think McKinnon in Tampa should be pretty good.

That way I can see if Vereen will actually be the go to guy in NE, while McKinnon should put up consistent #s to what he's done.
TennisMenace 156 Posted October 23, 2014 I'm mulling over McKinnon or the Duke (Ellington). I love Hillman and Bell so they are givens. I Hate to put either on the bench. Too bad I can't play 4 RBs and one WR. Lol
Sho Nuff 719 Posted October 23, 2014 Im with you on wanting to play 4RBs and 1 WR. With AJ Green hurt and still holding on to Gordon...my 2nd WR spot is weak right now (knowing I will pick wrong between Hopkins and Holmes)

NEWPOSTERGUY! 266 Posted October 23, 2014 - Chargers beat the donks last year in Denver (also a Thursday game) by playing keep away ... Mathews shredded 'em, and Keenan had only 2 catches, but both for tds. Oliver will be very useful tonight if McCoy and Phil choose to go the same route ... they really don't have a choice, because they cannot win in a shootout w/Peyton. something to consider. You aks some really good points BUT that was last year and the Bronos run D seems significantly better this year. I'm going back and forth...
Upper Class Trash 67 Posted October 23, 2014 Is this a sign they are going to take a look at McKinnon as a ADP replacement? Sure seems like it's a good time for it. He scored the 2nd highest of any position on the Nike test at the draft. It measures the athleticism of a player. It has no bearing on their actual talent, but from an athletic standpoint, he was the top rated running back. He was apparently (from what I've read) the target for MN from the get go. You can see why too. He's quick, a decent receiver and reads his blocks well. Considering his offensive line is average to slightly below, that is needed. I don't know if he's a long term answer at RB, but for this season, they don't really have another alternative. The question is will they draft Gurley in the offseason. Gurley fits to a 'T' in what Turner wants at the position. They have so many defensive needs though, and a defensive minded head coach, they may try to short up that side of the ball. TennisMenace 156 Posted October 23, 2014 I'm sorely tempted to sit Ellington. Have him, McKinnon and Oliver. Leaning Oliver and McKinnon. Philly played Giants runners tough and are coming off of a bye. The Duke may not be the best play, especially if other options exist. But, having said that, he does get a lot of touches both rushing and receiving.
