And yet, you have to pay your taxes. Meanwhile, this rich assh0le billionaire doesn’t pay his. But he’s your champion!

But he’s watching out for the little guy! CNN — Former President Donald Trump could owe more than $100 million in taxes as a result of a yearslong Internal Revenue Service inquiry into claims of huge losses on his Chicago skyscraper, The New York Times and ProPublica reported Saturday. The news organizations reported Trump claimed massive financial losses twice — first on his 2008 tax return, when he said the building, then mired in debt, was “worthless,” and again after 2010, when he had shifted its ownership into a new partnership also controlled by Trump. The 2008 claim resulted in Trump reporting losses as high as $651 million for the year, and there is no indication it drew an IRS challenge, the outlets reported. Then, Trump’s lawyers enabled further claims of losses in 2010 by shifting the Chicago tower into another partnership, “DJT Holdings LLC,” The Times and ProPublica reported. In the years that followed, other Trump businesses, including golf courses, would be shifted into that same partnership — which his lawyers used as the basis to claim more tax-reducing losses from the Chicago tower. That move sparked the IRS inquiry. Those losses added up to $168 million over the next decade, the report said. The outlets calculated the revision sought by the IRS could result in a tax bill of more than $100 million. The only public mention of the IRS audit into Trump’s Chicago tower loss claims came in a December 2022 congressional report that The Times and ProPublica reported made an unexplained reference to the section of tax law at issue in the case. That mention, the outlets reported, confirmed the audit was still underway. https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/11/politics/donald-trump-taxes-irs-report/index.html

SCOTUS Justice Clarence Thomas Secretly Accepted Luxury Trips From GOP Donor — ProPublica
IGotWorms replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
lol, what a fockin d0uche. Waaaahthey’re pointing out that I’m bought and that my wife was involved in trying to overthrow the government!! How mean! Justice Clarence Thomas denounced on Friday “the nastiness and the lies” that have shadowed him in recent years as public scrutiny has mounted over his wife’s efforts to subvert the 2020 election and luxury gifts he has accepted from billionaire friends. It amounted to some of the most extensive public remarks he has made since revelations that he failed to disclose years of lavish trips from wealthy conservatives, like the Texas real estate magnate Harlan Crow, including on private jets and a superyacht. “My wife and I, the last two or three years, just the nastiness and the lies,” said Justice Thomas, who did not specify what he was referring to in addressing a full ballroom of lawyers and judges gathered for a judicial conference in Alabama. “There’s certainly been a lot of negativity in our lives, my wife and I, over the last few years, but we choose not to focus on it.” The justice faced calls for recusal after text messages and emails showed that his wife, Virginia Thomas, known as Ginni, sought to overturn the election, appealing to administration officials and lawmakers. Justice Thomas has continued to participate in a number of cases related to the 2020 election, including three about Jan. 6 on the docket this term. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/10/us/politics/clarence-thomas-supreme-court.html -

It’s not like he suddenly became stupid overnight -
She’d have to be a real baller to take on a former president at the state level. She does not seem like a real baller.

Plus I feel like half the time it gets destroyed by buffering. Which never happens on any other device or app, or at least that’s been my experience -
That’s like being the smartest rehtard. I mean what’s even the competition? Fockin Minnesota or something?

Never really got Ricky Gervais. He’s basically just a troll. Yeah sure it can be amusing at times but it’s not like it’s some huge talent. Now a guy like Anthony Jeselnik, who can seriously shock you with artfully crafted but awful jokes, that’s something

I watched a little, when the NHL games are between periods. But how would I know? Those games are like 130-115 because there’s no focking defense. So maybe it should’ve been 130-123, I don’t know. And at that rate, who cares? Crap product.
