TwentyFourSeven 23 Posted September 2, 2013 Opportunity needs to knock for that to happen, otherwise hes Dexter Mclackluster. Agreed. He'll be a very exciting player to keep an eye on but I think that's where it ends.

rallo 136 Posted September 3, 2013 meh... doubt it will ever happen... i think the most he'll ever be is an antwaan randle-el (sp?) type guy.... this years ROY will probably be Lacy or Ball A sneaky pick would be Jarvis Jones out of pittsburgh...
R8RMick 242 Posted September 3, 2013 I think for his size and speed the kid is very tough. If he stays healthy, he stays on the field. And since this can be in any number of positions, he'll be there a lot. Having said as much, being in a keeper league, I'm interested to see what happens next year when MJD blows town. The Football Guru 222 Posted September 3, 2013 and will be fantasy gold you can slide him in at rb/wr All I'm going to say is that my dynasty team would appreciate it if he did become ROY. The kid is electric, a better inside runner than I would have ever imagined and will provide his share of highlight-worthy plays. I just don't think he'll get near enough opportunity to generate ROY consideration.

shovelheadt 71 Posted September 3, 2013 Dude couldn't stay healthy in college. Doubt he can do it in the NFL. My hope is for either Gio Bernard or Tyler Eifert!!

kilroy69 1,251 Posted September 3, 2013 he was a read option qb in college which is a position and style he will not be playing in the nfl.
R8RMick 242 Posted September 3, 2013 Dude couldn't stay healthy in college. Doubt he can do it in the NFL. My hope is for either Gio Bernard or Tyler Eifert!! Respectfully, the kid has missed parts of games, hasn't finished others, but has always returned the next week to line up under center. In fact he started all 26 games in 2010 and 2011. The nerve injury which plagues him in 2012 occurred against Illinois, when his right arm was stepped on about three inches above the elbow. The nerve in his arm went dead due to the bruise, and he lost feeling in his pinkie and ring fingers of his throwing hand. He re-aggravated it, and the hand plagued him the rest of the season, including the Senior Bowl and Combine. I believe eventual prognosis was 90 days to be fully healed after the Senior Bowl, which explains the problems he had catching the football in that game. This from NFL.com- "At the post-combine medical re-check, the feeling was back in Robinson's fingers. There are no long-term ramifications for the nerve to fully regenerate and -- given the proper time -- it completely should heal. Doctors believe eventually they won't be able to detect that the injury happened in the first place. When they re-tested the nerve, it came back firing. A strength test revealed he now has twice the strength in his right hand from when he was examined at the combine." I don''t think he's injury prone at all, I think he's a tough kid. He's got size, and his 4.43 time at the combine was barely slower than the likes of a Julio Jones, who led all WR's at his combine. Again, I think the kid is a football player. In today's NFL offenses, conventional thinking is not as prevalent. They can find any number of ways to get the ball in his hand.
Skinny_Bastard 157 Posted September 3, 2013 I highly doubt it. My money is on one of the rookies in NE. Thompkin or Sudfeld
Perennial Contender 18 Posted September 3, 2013 I think Gio might have something to say about that. He's my pick for ROY.
JagFan 164 Posted September 4, 2013 I don't see ROY, but I do see a sneaky WR3 (in leagues he qualifies at WR) while Blackmon is out. He will be on the field for better than 50% of the snaps, and line up at WR, RB, and QB....so I wouldn't be shocked at 10-15 touches in some capacity per game. I also believe the Jags have a lot more packages designed for him than one might expect based on a vanilla Pre-Season where they fed him a decent amount of touches. Don't be surprised to see him lined up at QB flanked by Mo-Jo in the Red Zone.
