I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...
Fireballer replied to Fireballer's topic in The Geek Club
There’s no reason this shouldn’t be widely accepted. Companies like Hasbro and Mattel should go the way of Bud Light and Mulvaney and have these trans aged people as spokespeople. Prove me wrong. -
I think you expect far to much from a board that very rarely takes anything seriously and has a juvenile sense of humor for pretty much everything. We have a dead pool for christ sake. If someone posts something they should just assume that the replies will contain some off color jokes. This place is like an 8th grade locker room and men typically have a different sense of humor based on our lived experience. Also, the idea that a woman would choose a bear is absurd and more of a thought experiment created to make men feel bad. Given the choice in REAL LIFE there is a near ZERO percent chance that if a woman had to choose between walking in the direction of a bear or a random man they choose the bear. ZERO. It is a thought experiment that leads to delusional women believing a bear is going to be safer. And, the same women who say they would rather be in the woods with a bear are also perfectly fine with a strange man in the women's bathroom. As long as that man FEELS like he is a woman. Just keep that in mind as more women support trans rights than men. Finally, the joke. It would make sense for women to pick a bear over a random man. Bear is over 6ft tall, Violent, has multiple babies, is extremely violent. Right in the wheelhouse of what far too many women look for.

We can all agree kids (under 18) shouldn’t get married right?
TimHauck replied to TimHauck's topic in The Geek Club
No you didn’t. Your implication seems to be that since some Dems support trans surgeries for minors that they would also support child marriage and thus being the opposite of them you don’t. Is that correct? If so, seems odd that most of the states banning it are democratic states -
Republicans and Democrats work together to stifle free speech
jonmx replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
Lol....Tim finally finds a line. It is OK to censor speech on the COVID vaccine. It is OK to censor those who wish to protest the election. It is OK to censor those critical of global warming science. It is OK for compelled speech to require preferred pronouns or be critical of the radical trans agenda. But finally when speech is censored on a pet issue he is critical of the establishment position, Tim finds the free speech religion. -
Humza Yousaf will resign tomorrow after the collapse of his left-wing coalition.
kilroy69 replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
The problem is that HR and Colleges have been co-opted to mean just that. Anti-White and Pro Trans. So you have the systems that employ us and the systems that teach our kids both pushing their agenda all the time. HR is 80 percent female and yet the left will have you believe that "the man" is holding women down at work. -

Yep! We need to push back on these authoritarian lefties everywhere in the world. They need to understand that "equality" means "equal", it doesn't mean that we go on the warpath of revenge against whites with a "it's our turn to be racist" attitude. Anti-white is still just as much RACISM as is anti-black. And, of course, pushing trans nonsense (and other rainbow mob nonsense) and anti-men nonsense needs to be stopped as well. -

I want to see any politician that pushes a pro trans agenda to fail. From anywhere. So good for Scotland. -
I assumed she is trans. Very raw and hard to watch. The MC is a total idiot but I feel bad for him anyway. I’m on the last episode and plan to finish tonight.

“I Can’t Breathe” Yet another black man dies at the hands of police
Strike replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
Sure he loves relying on studies. He ignores England's NHS in favor of "The Trevor Project" to form his opinion on teen transgender mutilation. Even left leaning The Atlantic acknowledges the validity of the NHS report but because it defies Tim's chosen attitude towards teen trans mutilation he discounts it. Has anyone here ever heard of "The Trevor Project?" -
Arizona indicts "fake elector" Clownzo boyos
Hardcore troubadour replied to Pimpadeaux's topic in The Geek Club
They have zero integrity. Ron/ Gutterboy actually mocked a girl that was raped father because the rapist was trans. Think about that. A young girl raped at school and he took the rapists side. -
He tries so hard to divert attention away from the fact he goes to a ghey bodybuilding site to cruise for twinks. Everyone knows he's gheyer than a three dollar bill. If he's so pro-trans and pro-rainbow mob I don't know why he doesn't come out and shout it to the heavens already. Who knew in 2024 that BeachGhey is not only embarrassed to be ghey, but then turns around and uses ghey slurs.

If you are a male that dates a biological man, are you gay?
Fireballer replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
So, why don’t you default to the American experts that are critical of our trans care over the doctor you linked to? -

jerryskids replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
You rely on controversial and highly disputed data as well, and I could go find plenty of people on the interwebs that say to medically trans any kid who says they are trans. I don't get your point. -
If you are a male that dates a biological man, are you gay?
Fireballer replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
I don’t have time right now to put down all my thoughts, but society has generally accepted the fact that courts make decisions if someone isn’t old enough to consent or make an informed decision. And as far as “medical experts” are concerned, trans people aside, all you have to do is look at our USDA food guide to see that the health care industry doesn’t always have the end users well being as the priority. -

jerryskids replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
Sorry, I can't do that until the American trans health community learns from Europe that they went too far, that medical interventions for children should be extremely rare and only in the most severe and thoroughly analyzed cases. -

But we don't know upon first meeting. I feel like I'm in an Abbott and Costello skit. And for the record, for the two people who identified as trans that I knew in my daughter's HS, I used their preferred names and pronouns du jour. (I say du jour because at least one later changed back to a boy. He came from a crap home life. Reference our earlier scientific discussion about experience/environment influencing gender). My concern, like Jordan Peterson's in Canada when he first rose to fame, is that this devolves into "hate speech" legislation, when we've just established that there is no way to pre-identify what a person wishes to be called. -

@squistiontells us that not every trans person has gender dysphoria. I personally think that makes them fake trans, but that's just my intelligent opinion. -
Woman Dressed as Cat Makes School Board Look Like morons - Also wood
kilroy69 replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
Funny, when someone uses humor to point out the absurdity of the trans movement "they are fools" and "look dumb". Not the mental patients that do this type of thing or the morons that support it with a "yaasssss girrrrlll". Got it. -
Bill Maher on Hollywood pedos and Drag Queen story hour
Fireballer replied to Fireballer's topic in The Geek Club
Y’all are missing the bigger picture. The most important part of what he said was, and I’m paraphrasing, that heteronormativity was being lumped in with racism and the evil white patriarchy. This is all part of the larger plan to push far left ideology. The goal is to wreck our institutions and societal norms and “build back better”. The same people pushing this have pushed antifa/Project 1619/CRT/BLM/Free Palestine/Occupy Wall Street/stolen land, etc. It’s no accident that the true reason for BLM existing was to “center black trans lives” and destroy the nuclear family. This garbage is in schools because of radical leftist teachers unions, not the sudden blossoming of young trans and gay population. -
I've been saying this for a while now, but women are the problem here. They're the ones on the forefront of all this DEI, LGB and trans nonsense - to their OWN detriment.

jerryskids replied to Fireballer's topic in The Geek Club
I've said before: progressives don't stop anywhere short of 100%. It worked with the gay "marriage vs. civil union" discussion. And for trans, they want men in women sports, locker rooms, prisons, spas. I didn't really care about the former, but I sincerely hope women rise up against the latter. -
Bill Maher on Hollywood pedos and Drag Queen story hour
The Real timschochet replied to Fireballer's topic in The Geek Club
Yes. Because unfortunately we still live in a society where young people who discover they are gay or trans can be shunned by peers, family, friends, told they are sick and abnormal. We still live in a society where young people who discover they are gay or trans commit suicide at high levels, because they cannot live with themselves. Drag queens are the most flamboyant homosexuals there are, the ones who are the most “out”. They are reading to children to send a message: “we are good people, we are normal people, just like everyone else, even though we dress differently and choose to be this way. We want you as children to grow up thinking- it’s OK for some people to be gay or trans. It’s OK for YOU to be gay or trans if that’s who you are.” That’s an important message for the children of our society. It’s a good thing. No grooming involved. -

The Real timschochet replied to Fireballer's topic in The Geek Club
I don’t believe you can “groom” someone to be homosexual. We’ve had this discussion before. A young child can be attracted to the elements of drag you mentioned: the makeup, costumes, colors, etc, without becoming gay. The gay part is not a thing you can transfer. Some people are gay, some people are trans, nobody can talk them into it or out of it. That is my understanding anyhow. But let’s suppose I am wrong about this and children actually could be talked into becoming gay or trans: How do we deal with this in a generally libertarian society? Not in the way conservatives appear to be proposing: restrictive laws prohibiting social encounters, and what we can read, and private decisions with a doctor, etc. Even if you were right I would still be opposed to all such restrictions, and still tell you that these are decisions better left to families and individuals to decide. -
