    Orrrr, you can mind your business. I take up for whomever I want. Diversity does not mean unqualified. A handicapped veteran can be DEI, an elderly person can be DEI, a person of color can be DEI, a gay or trans person can be DEI. Just because they are not white male doesn't mean they are unqualified. Get that through your thick skull.

    Oh, that. I guess "big issue" means an issue worth resolving. If it is as infrequent as you assert, it shouldn't affect too many trans kids. I also don't understand your comparison to women's health issues, or why you believe that if issue A is more important than issue B, then issue B should not be addressed.

    They will continue to pretend like this doesn't matter to parents. I personally know multiple liberals who were talking about the insanity involving trans and kids, and they don't put anywhere near the time that I do into these topics. I know a few also voted for Trump because this issue played a role. The smug response of "It's no big deal there are bigger ones out there" is why they lost forever. Trump will make sure the liberal agenda can't be propped up by our tax dollars agan, which also means no more stolen elections.

    As of 2021 there were 17.3 million students in high schools (public and private- that would not account for home schooled students I'd assume). I did say where the source came from but I'll go with what you want to go with. 570,900 students in high school identify as trans. So from that we can roll in some other findings (in bold are the sources cited in the study...as best I can access them) TBF- What I can't find in the data is how they are applying "high school-level team athletics." Is that school teams? Is it non school related teams? Case in point- you could be on a 16U softball travel team where you are playing with high school aged girls but not for a high school. Additionally- that number of 122K, or less, only speaks to transgender youth- it does not speak to what the sex is of that youth. Also, it doesn't account for kids who just ignored that question or chose not to answer it. There are so many threads on the topic because a forum is curated discussion. And people are not necessarily talking about transgender women in sports as the thread problem. It is talking about how- basically one person- seems to continually post about this stuff. Either way though- you wanted to hear from someone with daughter's. You did. You ignored my question i asked.

    It’s very unfair. And- something that nobody talks about- I’m convinced it’s unfair for transgender people as well. Most transgender people aren’t athletes, much less athletes competing for championships. They just want to be left alone to live their lives. But as long as these stories occur they are going to be grouped in with these few individuals which adds to atmosphere against trans.

    Fair enough. The sports angle I agree is unfair. Do a search of this place for “tranny” like 90% of the threads aren’t related to sports whatsoever however. The vast majority of my awareness of trans issues come from topics on this forum. That is bizarre to me. Maybe I am just not as well rounded on current affairs, more so “the pulse of the nation” I suppose as others on here.

    Well, I have two daughters, thankfully both in their 20s so they don't have to deal with this in school. Both are athletic, and one in particular could have gotten a college softball scholarship had she chosen to stick with it. The other did competitive dance, which probably wasn't under attack by doods wanting to be girls. Basically, I'm waiting to hear from somebody who has daughters who compete athletically, who doesn't think this is a big issue. Otherwise, we have this situation where you folks on the left say that trans guys in womens sports are so rare as to not be on the radar, yet you complain that there are too many threads about how often it seems to be happening. A conundrum wrapped in an enigma, some might say.

    On top of that, 46 state law makers voted to approved of transition tactics like hormone therapy, puberty blockers, and surgeries. 46 democrats voted to approve this. You liberals wonder why we may give a pass to Trump once in a while for not being perfect. It's because if we elect a liberal, they will most likely vote to destroy children and mutilate their bodies. You cannot be trusted. Hmm. Who is a bigger danger in my mind, a guy who wants to end the war in Russia, even if it means changing traditional tactics, or a liberal who wants to mutilate children.     Actually, the simple concept is that if you allow this man to compete with women, you've set precedent for future (more capable) men to do the same. You've also introduced a process where somebody has to make some decision of whether or not every trans man "sucks" enough to compete with women. That's both unmanageable, and not exactly making the trans person feel good about themselves, which is the argument by the Left of why they should be allowed to compete with women. I honestly don't know why you bump these yip yip topics of yours.

    The problem is that the messaging from the Democrat party is the easy way out and that women are convinced they're victims. The Republican's shouldn't do that. The Republican's are fighting for women in sports and Democrats are still coming out with a pro-trans movement and women are still backing them. College women, because that's who's voting Democrat, are brainwashed. That's not going to change.

    I agree that defacing a business / product you don’t own is worse than buying a bunch of beer and shooting it or wherever. On the other hand, people are protesting Tesla because the CEO is haphazardly laying off tens of thousands of people and bragging about it like a doosh. MAGAs were protesting BL because they made a six pack of tranny beer that no one would have known about it people like a few Geeks I won’t name didn’t spend hours scouring the web for trans related stuff. Nobody has been physically harmed that I know of so I’ll call it a wash.

    No I agree with your first paragraph. My point was I don’t think those airport bathrooms were created because of “demands” from trans folks. Never really thought about how I define trans because unlike the Geek Club I don’t really think about trannies much at all. I’m not sure I’d say they’d need to get the surgery to be called trans, maybe at least be on some sort of hormone medication.

    I think where we disagree is that, given the relatively few number of trans people, they could use the "family" (or rebranded as "all-gender") restroom that most airports have these days. Unless you define "trans" as people who've physically transitioned, as I said in my post. If you consider men who claim to be women when they woke up this morning as trans, then we disagree.

    I'm not clear of your point here. Obviously you don't disagree with my first point. And your post doesn't address my second point. I've stated here recently that I support trans women who have physically transitioned being in women's restrooms. I see no better way to moderate it, and I don't think that truly gender dysphoric people pose a significant threat to women. In other words, lopping off your boy parts seems like a pretty large commitment to your belief that you are a woman. But I maintain that the progressives (mostly upper middle class hetero women IMO, not actual trans people) want trans women in biological women's bathrooms, because that is "full" acceptance. I agree with you on locker rooms.
