One would think that with all the threads about trans that are started here (and how they seem to be brought into other threads that has nothing to do with the subject matter) that this "tranny" threat would be the most important issue on voters minds...yet the moderators didn't mention it nor did Vance think it important enough to even raise the issue.

Agree that she should not be on a woman’s team, but per usual, this seems to be being blown out of proportion. The team is not even ranked in the top 25 and Fleming doesn’t even appear to be the best player on the team, which would suggest the “safety concern” is being overblown. Also apparently the teammate that filed a lawsuit lived with Fleming for awhile before even realizing they were trans. So much for @weepaws being able to identify trannies going to the bathroom so he can beat them up.

I believe the shooter had a pride flag in their TikTok bio, like many kids do today as a show of support. Was born male, traditional male name, he/they pronouns. There also one hashtag of genderfluid or something that was likely a joke. He never claimed to be transitioning to female, never wore female clothing or had any other female characteristics. The trans haters will try and make every shooter a tranny since the Nashville shooting to push an anti-trans agenda. They failed again here. -
Sure, there are always exceptions. Perhaps where we disagree is in the ratio of actual kids with severe gender dysphoria which may warrant medical intervention, vs. the less severe to social contagion cases. I happen to think the latter is much more prevalent. Even if not, or even if not a majority, I think the default should be "physician, do no harm" in general. BTW, your 0.01% estimate earlier significantly underestimates the number of people, and particularly kids, who identify as trans. If you agree with my last sentence, I don't see how you come to this position. Also, by your argument, I presume you also disagree with states taking away parental rights and/or giving sanctuary to "trans" kids against their parents' wishes?

What we have today is because the activists at WPATH were allowed to infiltrate academia. It’s been a snowball effect since then. Doctors are basing treatment on ideas from a trans think tank. -

If you had a daughter that insisted she needed to puke after meals to feel normal, would you encourage her to keep puking or would you get her help for a mental illness. The medical community encourages trans kids to change their gender instead of treating them for a clear mental illness. It would be like a doctor saying...oh if puking your guts out makes you feel better go for it. -

It isn't homophobia. At all. I am not scared of homosexuals, I could have beer with a gay man, straight man, trans man...Wouldn't care at all. That's not a phobia. So you're wrong. The difference between the 50s and 60s which you love to bring up so much, is people wanted to "do something" about gays then. I don't. Let them live their lives. If they are happy, then kudos to them. And no I don't complain about the names you are being called. because they are directed at you specifically....and in many cases you deserve it. You are generalizing an entire group, and that's what the left does. Remember, Tim said in 2016 AND 2020 if you vote for Trump you are racist. Everyone. Period. Ok well slow down. Just like there are a holes in every single demographic that exists, I can 100% guarantee that there are gay and trans a holes as well. Whether kids being transitioned is overblown or not isn't the point. My point is I am against it. Whether it's one time or a million times. -

Fair enough. If a dude wants to wear a dress, fine with me. More straight ladies for me when I hit the bar. I think "kids being transitioned" is overblown as a talking point. I've never met a gay or trans dude who was a a'hole and I live in the Bay Area so there are a lot. -

Point #2: On your second paragraph, what concerns me more is that for every kid you describe in the bolded, there are potentially orders of magnitude more who are being fast-tracked through the (now for profit with gender clinics) gender transition machine, kids who are depressed, confused by hormone changes and societal praising of trans, not actually gender dysphoric. I've said before, I too believe that the government should not get in the middle of such medical decisions. But we have a problem in both our society and our medical industry which is harming far too many children.

0 clue why that is in a post addressing one of mine. I certainly wouldn't suggest that. Me? I would expect it to be right in line with what you posted above and that's it's the factors that I listed above that correlate with the incidents not a answer either way of trans or not trans. -
my sons best friend’s mom was at BLM protests holding signs back during covid. Was on facebook, someone showed me. I say, so what? Been around her hundreds of times, never once spoke politics. Anything is “poison” at a high enough dosage. I suspect that is the case with tartrazine. I’m no nutritionist but while I agree those food items are not healthy obviously, tartrazine is probably low on the list of reasons why. Tons of added sugars, trans fats, etc are likely worse. -
