Bud Light sales down nearly 30% year over year as rivals continue to climb
BuckSwope replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
Not confused, just overstated for effect as I often do. Mostly just find that argument funny. Why do you think it would be rational for people to run out and buy something they don't use in support? Also, what in your opinion should be the level of support for me to act. If I support Bud Light doing what they want? Support a trans person being a spokesperson? What? Hell, I don't even know what you idiots are boycotting. -
Wow. Who would have known that 18 years later, the trans movement would be all over this board. is @gutterslut still around?

Bud Light sales down nearly 30% year over year as rivals continue to climb
BuckSwope replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
This post is funny on a couple levels. Mostly that you whine about the bolded but then do the same assuming all "the left" would be in support of, what I'm not sure. Support of everything trans? Next is suggesting that people should buy stuff they don't use for "support" of whatever you think they are supporting. -
Born a chick. End of story. And trans females? Da phuk? I'm sure if you're looking for info on that the various MAGAtards for whom being by is a choice will happily give you some deets.

So no trans-females for you? Even if they had bottom surgery and have a place to put it?

Gender affirming care increases suicide?
The Real timschochet replied to ROCK BOTTOM's topic in The Geek Club
You thought it helped. And yet you’re quoting a very dubious anti-trans source. In another thread you claimed to be a life long Democrat but that you’ll be forced to vote for Trump. Forgive my skepticism. -
What’s even worse is the chart is broken down by 15-19, 20-24, and 25-34 (they actually cut off the 25-34 legend but doing a quick search it looks like that’s what it should be). Both 20-24 and 25-34 show big increases, but 15-19 is roughly flat. So if that’s actually when affirming care started, if there’s any possible conclusion to be drawn about trans youth here (probably not due to the low % it makes up), if anything this chart shows the opposite of what they’re claiming. But as is typical of the GC, they go off their script without actually looking at the data…

Boston announces reparations task force that will study impact slavery had on residents
seafoam1 posted a topic in The Geek Club
This will cost @edjr his last $12 in his retirement savings. https://www.foxnews.com/media/boston-announces-reparations-task-force-study-impact-slavery-had-residents-city-trial Boston Mayor Michelle Wu announced Wednesday that the city has established teams that will play a role in their reparations task force. Wu said the Boston Reparations Task Force will consist of one team of historians that will research the city of Boston’s role in the transatlantic slave trade and the impact of slavery on the city. Each historian was evaluated by city staff and other members of the task force. "I’m grateful to these teams of historians who will serve our city by documenting Boston’s role in the trans-Atlantic slave trade and the myriad legacies of slavery that continue to impact the daily lives of our city’s communities," Wu said in a statement. "Through their scholarship and partnership with our task force, we will better understand the full picture of our city’s history and look forward to their comprehensive report that will build on our ongoing efforts." After examining the city’s slave history and its impact on current residents, the Boston Reparations Task Force will create a report of recommendations "for reparative justice solutions" to aid Black residents for the city officials to consider. In addition to researching the legacy of slavery in Boston, the task force will engage the community to discuss their "lived experience," according to the task force's website. -

Liberals are highly educated. Liberals need government assistance to pay their education loans off. Reliant upon the government. Liberals are all so happy to bring in fresh hard working faces into this country. Liberals are whining ad nauseum about the illegals flooding into their self proclaimed santuary cities beyond measure. Liberals focus soley on gay and trans and other alphabet soup letter's rights. Black and latino people are starting to vote for conservatives more and more. Liberals are celebrating a great economy. Liberals are secretly praying Trump takes office so they can blame the biden economy on Trump. Liberals cheered and bailed out arsonists, looters, and murderers in 2020 in the name if justice. Liberals hate selfie takers.

I expect, around here, to get this kind of pushback for my views about immigration, trans, climate, etc. I didn’t expect to get it about white pride. Goes to show I overestimated you guys once again. lol. -

What’s the difference? According to the Geek Club, if you’re a Democrat you voted for genital mutilation and trans in women’s sports. -

Trans in girls sports would never fly here in Philly outside of some toney private school and this is supposedly one of the most liberal cities in the country. -

Pulling your kid off a basketball team because there’s a trans playing on the other side is not quite the same as refusing to move from the “whites only” part of the bus. But you go, Rosa! -
How about one for trans issues?

You can’t complain if you participate. I would never let my kids participate in a game with a trans. And I wouldn’t be shy about letting anyone know why. -

Link? i have stated many many times that biological males should be prohibited from competing in girls sports. It’s vey rare, the level of obsession you guys have about it is disturbing and linked to anti-trans bigotry which is sad. But still it shouldn’t be allowed. -

It is incredible how trans athletes can go from being very mediocre male athletes and transition into being star female athletes. I am anxiously awaiting similar success in athletes transitioning to male. -

Not acceptable behavior for a presidential candidate
Voltaire replied to IGotWorms's topic in The Geek Club
Trump is on the side of the people and anti-uniparty. If you want any confirmation of that, take a look at the enemies he's made: the uber-wealthy corporate globalist media insider crooks gathered in Davos this week. Well connected global citizens who always look out for themselves first, second, third, and fourth, couldn't care less about the people in the countries they originate from and step over them as they board private jets to New York, London, Paris, Dubai, Shanghai, and Singapore every few days. These insider scum are pissing their pants over his return. They have all the levers of power but they can't seem to stop him no matter how hard they pull. You can see it in Trump NOT going to war while cleaning up the international messes, pressuring China, sh*tcanning NAFTA and the trans-Pacific bullsh*t trade agreement, forcing Europe to pay for their share of NATO, making the US energy independent, not pandering to illegal migrants and prioritizing them over US citizens. People know their lives were much better under Trump and are much worse under Biden because they can compare and contrast the two. -
What is it was a trans-Atlantic flight? The trannies might be better equipped to help you through your journey.

If I ever walked onto a plane and the entire crew was trans and/or black I'd walk right off. You can include Muslims in that too. I don't risk my life on diversity hires

Liberals hate the trans issue that they vote for. Don’t even want it mentioned. It’s a big loser. Hell, the centrists here say they are against it. Vote for it, but are against it. -
All the liberals on this site consider themselves moderates.
The Real timschochet replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
Depends on the issue doesn’t it? On social issues (abortion, gay rights, trans rights, African-American issues, etc.) I suppose I’m pretty extreme compared to many other people. On immigration issues I’m extreme (though not leftist; my views on that stem from libertarianism.) But traditionally when one is described as liberal or conservative, the main concerns at play are economic: should government have more control on business or less? Should there be some sort of redistribution of wealth? Should taxes be lower in general or higher? Etc, On these issues I find myself in the center most times.
