Ainsley 0 Posted March 22, 2006 ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) - Eric Moulds has the Buffalo Bills' permission to seek a trade, the latest step for the veteran receiver who asked for his release after repeatedly rejecting the team's demands to take a pay cut. Vikings4ever 550 Posted March 22, 2006 Any idea where he might land? He would look good in Purple..... Houston desperately needs a WR. And I'd rather the Vikes not go after him. He's too up and down for my taste, and he quite possibly will be released anyway.
bigtuna 0 Posted March 22, 2006 I have to admit he looked real bad in Bufffalo last year. SLOW But it may be that Losman/Holcomb suck and made him and Evans look worse
whoisjgalt 0 Posted March 22, 2006 I have to admit he looked real bad in Bufffalo last year. SLOW But it may be that Losman/Holcomb suck and made him and Evans look worse He ended the season very well, averaging 9 catches and 102 yards per game against the Broncos, Bengals, and Jets. I realize that none of these teams are atop the D standings (although the Broncos were good). But he was far from a disaster in '05 and he's normally bad in odd years anyway. Vikings4ever 550 Posted March 22, 2006 I figured there was a different between the 2 QBs, but I never expected it to be that much of a margin.
lechuza 0 Posted March 22, 2006 when Losman is qb - Evans is the #1 WR when Holcomb is qb - Moulds is #1 WR Moulds has definitely lost his explosiveness. In my opinion he isn't even the best WR on the Bills right now. He would be a good posession WR for a team for a couple more years, and would be a good #2... even though he doesn't like to not be the main WR on the team. Dont get it twisted....Moulds is a beast....living in the buffalo area.. i see moulds as a great WR but never with a stable coach or QB....he is still very good.... He would make McNabb look good.... Guest stevejohnson Posted March 22, 2006 He would be HUGE in Philly.....T.O. Who I am praying that The Eagles have a plan to get Moulds on the team! They can not expect to win with the likes of T. Stinkston and J. Gaffney! I think Moulds has been buried by poor QB play for the last couple of seasons and may have a pro bowl type year left in him on the right team. If Jeff Lurie and Joe Banner screw this up, I may really decide to sell off all of my season tickets!
Stars 0 Posted March 22, 2006 Hello Lee Evans as the #1 WR in Buffalo. Hello Eric Moulds as the #2 WR in New England. So does that make Evans worth retaining at the end of the 6th in a 12-team league? I guess he must be, as a no.2 or no.3 receiver in a play-3-WR league. Deadpool 0 Posted March 22, 2006 I would think that these teams would be possibly interested in Moulds....... Patriots Texans Eagles Vikings (not sure how much room they have now though) Chiefs Seahawks And I will add one Longshot here............The Packers. But that is ONLY if Farve returns. If he retires, then forget it. I would think that this would increase Evans fantasy productivity, but I would watch the QB situation closely once we get into Training Camp. Fumbleweed 547 Posted March 22, 2006 He would be HUGE in Philly.....T.O. Who As much as I dislike Owens, Moulds is not in his class. Owens has a rare blend of size and speed rarely seen in a WR.....Moulds still has the size, but the speed is not what it used to be. Anyone who expects Moulds to be the next Terrell Owens will be sorely disappointed.....and that's not meant to be a knock on Moulds. It's just the truth. This is so true, and this is the reason I am glad my Cowboys took the gamble in signing TO. The Cowboy's offense has been brutally bad for several years now, and I am so tired of watching their pathetic offense, that I think it's worth the risk signing a-hole TO just to see Dallas score more than 15 points a game. Jetdoc 20 Posted March 22, 2006 At a cap hit of $7 million per year, I would guess that no team will trade for him. Look for him to be released and then heavily negotiated with after the release.

OrangeSoda 2 Posted March 22, 2006 I think now that Denver Missed out on Owens, they might risk it on a sure deep threat. I think he's be a great fit for the broncos. Although they did just move up in the draft with the Abraham deal, they could be targeting Santonio Holmes or Chad jackson?

D'ohmer Simpson 0 Posted March 22, 2006 The media threw Moulds' name around Philly a lot before the FA period began. Apparently the Eagles have, or had, no interest in Moulds. I still think they don't. I think they're quite happy with Pinkston, Brown and Gaffney.
