They have now put out signs - 4 of them - on printed white paper on stick in their front yards all saying to please not let their dogs poop on the yard.

 

Do I:

 

1) Ask them to take them down because they are an eyesore?

2) Call the HOA on them?

3) Take a huge dump on their yard?

Silly us...we thought you were talking about the letter from today...not the one that was posted and discussed a couple of weeks ago.

 

As for whether or not it was the appropriate place to post such stuff...this is what it says on the community website's home page:

Mine was both an issue and a complaint.

 

ETA: Just got a call back from one of the board members. He has informed the management office to contact my neighbor and inform her that she can either walk the dog on the ground level (like everyone else) or let it go to the bathroom inside her unit. If she violates this the board will begin fining her immediately.

 

Hopefully this resolves the situation...although, I doubt she and I will be inviting one another over for tea any time soon (like I give a rat's ass.)
