We all have them in our company; the people who copy everyone on a senseless reply that has nothing to do with us. Here is his latest gem in response to an email blast warning us about certain features not in a SW package: thanks for the FYI! Jeebus I hate this guy. Our company controls the "all" as well, this used several smaller reflectors. Also looking at the list again, it is probably "only" about 500 people. We have about 5K total. She sent out a recurring reminder note to remind everyone in our division (about 200) people that the price of stamps was going up. A Microsoft admin replied back to everyone with "C'mon, if this isn't spam what is? Where's the email about recent Indiana legislation increasing the tax on smokes by 40 cents?" Some jerk off customer service rep got a chain email - one of those that says you will get $500 from Bill Gates if you forward it to XX number of people... Guess what d!ckhead does? Forwards this email to everyone in the GAL (Global Address List). Seriously, ALL of our email servers were practically stopped for 5 hours trying to forward this crap out to everyone...and we have a TON of email servers. Tell him that 1000 to 500 is not an exaggeration, both are still 10%+ of the company, and that I didn't need to add that correction, but I did.
